Well I can see a Tko in this fight. Floyd, will make Maidana missed all night and Maidana will be gassed in route to a Tko loss.

be better publicity if Floyd chooses someone other than Khant or Maidana. I hear Lara is free right now

I don't care, it's time for Floyd to step aside.

    Punches per round? Khan
    Punches across the fight? Maidana

Neither of them will land anything meaningful.

Floyd is the naturally bigger fighter this 140lb bull**** has got to stop when he can't do less than 146 vs Marquez. Floyd can definitely drop Maidana and stun him repeatedly with body shots, which seem to be his Achilles heel. But Maidana came up from the best punch a prime Khan unleashed in his whole career, to Khan's credit, but Khan couldn't keep him down. Maidana tho pudgy, is a solid 147lber now and can take shots a lot better, thanks to his fights with Alexander, Soto Karass, and even Broner. A tko or stoppage would be more likely than a KO for Floyd. Same thing with Maidana if he solved the Floyd puzzle, even if he caught Floyd once, hard to catch him again, but Floyd has most trouble with right hands, like the ones Mosley, Judah, and Castillo planted on him.

How the hell does that make any sense?

More punches per round= more punches overall. There is no way you can average more punches a round and less the whole fight.

I am baffled by this post, it's basic math....

Maybe because khan will get knocked out before the 3rd round and therefore won't be there anymore to land punches.

That's abit harsh on maidana I think. He did land a lot on broner ...

I very much doubt this fight will end that early.

Then maidana up until that point would only be valid in the discussion and not what he woul do after, you must compare at the highest common point, an since this is hypothetical, and no stipulations were set, we can only assume that this is over a 12 round limit.
