I thought Mayweather jr doesn't want to fight Manny Pacquiao unless he leaves Bob Arum/Top Rank?

didn't bother reading your novel but from the quick skim, it looks like you're saying something of Arum still getting a share from Floyd's cut. Why would Arum still get his share from Floyd? Floyd has all the negotiating power and can make his demands. If he wants more money he can get that too. FLOYD WILL STILL GET HIS. Arum takes his from Manny. So why is Arum a problem?

 That was before. NOW Floyd wants Manny to leave Bob, but for what? How can anyone's beef be that big that they'd be willing to skip out on 40+ Mil? Floyd would rather skip on making a lot more money just so Arm won't take a cut from Pacquiao? So Floyd is really looking out after Pacquiao I take it? Floyd is a nice guy and doesn't want Pacquaio to get ripped off by Bob no more so THAT's why he wants Bob not in the picture?

Not a 147 belt, but Ruslan DOES have a belt but to Marquez it still doesn't matter. Like his fans turning into Floyd fans, Marquez too is copying Floyd in saying one thing then doing the other. Marquez says he only wants to fight for money or a 5th title, then now fights Alvarado who has neither. But it's all good, Mike will retire him. Marquez if a fool to be stepping into a ring against someone who's 5'9 with a 69.5 reach and can fight off the back foot and let Marquez lead the dance.

convenient you leave out the other two main offers.
and i am fairly certain paq was free agent for the 40m flat fee. only to say 50/50 an hang up them
within a week sign a TR extension. i could be wrong so i cant o call this a fact but i am pretty damn sure.

that was the reason for the offer, so no arum and paq could do with the 30% he wanted. when under contract with TR he has never snifed 40m. he maxed at the 30m before arum snags in 30%, its funny how you floyd haters leave out everything, pick and chose tidbits to make your case.

look up at the posts, i told it exactly how its gone down from 2009 to now

Floyd split with Arum was not a pretty one ! Accusations of career sabotage and unpaid money owed, is just some of the thing on the surface, that was reported by the media and what most boxing fans have known from the grapevine.

Its also no secret that Arum went out of his way to discredit Floyd after their split, in return Floyd is unwilling to allow the man he believes tried his best not promote to but ruin his career, to make a dime from his name, and success. More then likely there are other reasons but the reasons mentioned are the ones that stand out.

completely agreed, mike is not a good fight for him aymore, not sure he ever was, jmm i alway was very high on but he aint beating anyone near the top and 140 never mind 147. time to retire.

if tim somehow beats paq thats the safest fight for him. not saying he has a legit shot i just think thats the only fight he i not left looking at the lights or leftr on the mat as forner great with no fight left in him. paq 4 was his last great effort and he saved thoat performance somehow..

sadly, he is completely done, he was so slow v tim and didnt look like he was strong at all

FLOYD WOULD STILL GET HIS. Manny will always get lesser. What's the big deal if Arum is or isn't in. Arum isn't taking anything from Floyd.

And the 40m no ppv shares, anyone who thinks that's a fair proposition is an idiot. You are showing you are believing that was a fair proposition.

Seems like people's reasoning's are, Floyd don't want Bob to make money off of his name.

So Money May is willing to skip out on 40+mil just so Bob won't make a penny.

what i dont understand is todd leblouf (sp?) is friends with floyd outside of boxing. why cant bob put him in control of manny and any busi with floyd ??

Because Floyd would put up another excuse.

If he would never do business with bob arum, why not just say that from the very start. What was the use of the testing, the money, etc.

But yall have a good time talking, I'm out

    couldn't agree more
making this fight 4 years ago was MUCH more important than who made more than the other - they both were going to make a fortune anyway

**** test makes pac look very bad, but Floyd offering a flat 40mill for THE career-defining fight, and to decide who had ATG bragging rights of their era, looks bad for Floyd

it doesn't matter if that was more money than pac could have made elsewhere, the bottom line is that people were divided as to who would have won, and it would have been legitimately for ALL THE MARBLES
