Stevenson doesn't even want Ward. Did he call out Ward after his last fight? Hm?

He's avoiding Kovalev and he calls out HOPKINS.

Maybe Ward should get his contract sorted out and send an offer to GGG's team..
I guess it's easier to talk about who's deserving or who wants what fight when you're looking at inactivity.

Remember when Chavez Jr was a "young, hungry lion" until there was talks of Froch getting the Chavez Jr fight? Chavez Jr quickly became a "weak link at 168lbs".
Wonder which way the wind(hot air) is blowing now?

Sorry but I just don't see it. Golovkin is ALL hype. His resume is the definition of absolute ****. Beating Golovkin, especially @ 168, means *nothing*.

Hagler beating Hearns @ 160 means nothing also?

    Weight means ****.

GGG although his resume is a little weak has a sh1tload of hype around him and had some decent wins.

A fight vs Ward would be a good one.

What does this have to do with GGG backpeddling?

He wants nothing to do with 154/168 fighters.

He should continue to campaign @ 160 and that's completely fine. BUT keep Ward out of your damn mouth. :rofl

Stevenson has Kovalev to take care of.

    That fight needs to happen.

Stevenson called out Ward live on HBO, Ward refused to even answer him. I am sure Kovalev would be happy to fight him, so would Shumenov. If Ward thinks smaller fighters should go up, then I suggest he fight at light heavyweight, or he can call out Vladimir Klitschko after Vlad fights his mandatory, if the money is right I am sure Ward can get that fight...........Ward did call out quasi-50 years old Hopkins, wow, I am impressed...........Ward would not even allow Bute to fight in his tournament! Ward refused to fight outside his own home town with his referee, judges, boxing commission. Ward needs to, at least, answer Stevenson.

Golovkin said he would go up to 168 sometime in the future. Martinez, Quillin, Sturn, Geale are not 168 lbs. fighters, but Ward can come down to 160 or wait until Golovkin fills up to 168, Hagler never went up, but that is a fighter Ward lovers hate also.............

If Ward wants Golovkin so bad, why doesn't he drop down to 160 and fight him like Dawson did for him? Or Golovkin's willing to do for Mayweather? :think

And yet GGG wants to fight Floyd. Ok. :rofl and calls out 154 lb fights.

But when Lara calls him out.

    He says, no not interested.

Ward will go up when the time is right.

Truth. If he doesn't there is no pressure on Golovkin to move up at this time, that should be obvious. Martinez-Cotto winner is next up.
Ward is being sneaky here, trying to run a reverse Chad Dawson on him.
I suspect he will run up to 175 when GGG finally moves up.

Naw, it's not that at all. He is just offended by GGG using remarks like " I will fight anyone from 154 - 168 " and getting credit for willing to do that and not acting on it. It's disrespectful cause GGG knows he don't want none of Ward but he got people believing he does. Now, Ward just said that he will fight anybody so lets see how that goes when it's time to step to Stevenson or Kovalov.
