Hey Mr Sarcasm, where did I say that?

Also if he was so much more developed why did he avoid the fight. As I said he may even have better boxer, but if he didn't like himself to win, he wouldn't have, he'd have caved. Don't underate the psychology involved.

in your head he is. but in actuality, he's no where near due to him having a pretty **** resume when all is said and done. sorry.

there's no logical argument to have ANYONE over Lewis. not even Ali.

his biggest wins are over three of the most overrated fighters in history. that's a fact that no one can argue. if they claim they can, then do it here. anyone?????

    i'm all ears. :think

Toney isn't better than Rahman of McCall when they were at their best.

all Toney has at the weight is a win over a shot Holyfield. big deal.

the other wins are tainted due to him being on performance enhancers.

like a lot of your fighters. :deal

Bowe got eventually got the fight but Lewis threw it away by getting stretched out by mACall. Look it up.

I agree it doesn't necessarily mean that he would have beaten him as a pro. I just don't believe that Bowe thought he could win it to be honest, and so I can't see a fully motivated Bowe ever coming up against Lewis.

A motivated Bowe would have given him fits and maybe would have beat him, especially if Lewis was in anything but top form, I just don't ever see a point in their careers where it could have happened.

True but Bowe only finally agreed to the fight after he had nothing to lose and everything to gain. He had lost his title to Evander so agreed to the fight with Lewis. When he had the title he didn't dare risk losing it to Lewis.

You have no proof for these unsubstantiated allegations. The facts are Holyfield fought ALL the best guys of his era when it counted. He faced formitable versions of Bowe, Tyson, and Lewis himself, along with a who's who of the other top fighters of the era. Lewis waited to face Holyfield when he had declined, and he fought Tyson when he was DONE.

Oh, and Holyfield was never taken out early by second tier fighters like Lewis. In fact, during his prime, he was stopped only by another top fighter of the era, Riddick Bowe. And not early, either.

Holyfield > Lewis. Period, end of paragraph.

Bowe was putting up his WBO title. It was Lewis who had nothing.

Would you say that Bowe in mid 95 was in his prime?

Lennox/Bowe was set for March 95 wasn't it? Bowe only won the WBO in March 95 against Herbie Hide didn't he? How could he have defended something he hadn't even won yet? Also if the fight was signed before the McCall fight it would have been done so on the assumption that Lewis still had his WBC title.
