Oreilly has great skills but seems a little small for middleweight where as O Neil is a big size middle,I think this would be a deciding factor in this match up,
Was extremely impressed with O reilly when he was robbed of a euro gold in the city west a few years back,Thought he would have come through to senior level better,
I hear Mc loughlin has packed in boxing,Pity he would have beeen a great pro imo

I heard from an eye witness that O'Reilly looked very impressive against Mark Heffron a few weeks ago in sparring. But yeah, O'Neill is very big and strong, after all he campaigned at LHW for a long time too.

That's an awful shame about McLaughlin if true. I thought last year's final against Adam Nolan was very close. The most ridiculous scoring I've ever seen was in that fight!

The word on Twitter seems to be that Quigley is turning pro!

Everyone that is in boxing should aim high and try and look for world title fights and the same counts for Andy,he has a serious ko rate and a serious left hook.
His father dying shouldnt hamper things, hbo will dictate things, over 2 months to fight so plenty of time for grieving, could work in Andys favour, watch out for KO. for Andy.

Be very interested to see this match up. Thought O'Reilly would have gone a bit further by now as well, but he's still a young fella. Watched him handling Adam Nolan in sparring a few years back, both were about 72, 73kg then so I'm sure he's grown into the weight. Think O'Neill will just about edge it though and take middleweight back. Last year, with no warm-up action, he still only lost to Quigley on a countback and coming in this year he's had a lot of fights and will be sharp.

Few fights I'm hoping to see this year:

    49: Barnes v Myers. 56: Walker v Conlan. 60: Geragthy v McComb.

Willie's not training and not boxing as of now. Has a full-time job and it's paying the bills. Hoping he comes back soon - as a pro.

Now that Geale has a " big win" under his belt (I know, I know) but could that mean he will get GGG next instead of Andy....

Moorser & Marty, Willie said he'd had a few offers, but with two young kids and a mortgage he's happy to work for now. But says he could be back soon, so make of that what you will. His WSB record, losing just one in eight at the wrong weight against bigger guys, and the offensive style he displays every time he gets in the ring, suggests he'd do very well as a pro indeed. I could imagine him being a big crowd pleaser in America too.
