It's clear whos better in every way

    give your opinions

    Technical comparison

Rigo is faster, his footwork is better,

is far far far more fluid than mayweather, Punches with all his body weight unlike mayweather who lacks power

Is overall a far more talented boxer but porbably will never be as famous as mayweather shame!

Both fighters have solid technique, solid defence with fast hands and good offence.
P4P, I tend to give Rigondaeux the edge because not only does he possess fast hands, but more power than Mayweather, and his hands don't seem to be as brittle.

Really they been down the same number of times one a piece, and mayweather has been rocked by corely mosley twice and more

Chins are soo overrated in boxing anyway anyone can be knocked out!
but what does it matter if you cant find them,

both of them wont let u hit them that often or leave themselves in a posiotion to get koed!

Mayweather uses more upper body movement in his defense (uses good footwork aswell, but he will more often stand in the pocket and dodge or parry punches) whereas Rigo uses his footwork as his main defense and has more subtle upper body movement.

I'd say its reasonable to say Mayweather has a better chin considering he has been fighting pro for so long and has only been down once I think. But both rarely get hit clean. Both have very good recouperation powers.

Both can box on the front and back foot. Rigo has more power but Mayweather is fighting at a higher-than-prime weight, he had more power at 130 for example.

Rigo makes his opponents lower their output more and makes them more gun shy (esp when they feel his power). I think Mayweather can make opponents gun shy too but they probably throw more but he makes them miss very well, hence his excellent +/-% (although Rigo throwing fainting jabs probably skews his percentages a bit).

Rigo is probably a better body puncher, he attacks the body more whereas Mayweather targets the body in order to change it up and create openings to the head.

Mayweather is probably better at adapting and is possibly more versitile. It's is more clear to see Mayweather making adjustments based on who he is fighting. Although Rigo hasn't yet faced as wide a variety of opponents as Mayweather.

Mayweather is like Miles Davis, Rigondeaux is more like Herb Albert. Mayweather is fluid and can improvise, Rigondeaux is more mechanical.

No it was legit but mayweather got knocked down by Judah but the referee didn't see Floyd's glove touch the canvas so I guess they are even in knockdowns.

Mayweather does have the better chin though.
