    1. He needs to leave Oakland once in a while and seek out bigger fights.

    2. He needs to accept he is not always the money fighter, and agree to have a smaller part of the pie. For example, if he was to fight the Froch-Groves winner at Wembley stadium, would the PPV buys and the bums in seats be because people want to watch Ward? Hell no. But he thinks he deserves bigger money than them. His shitty HBO ratings when in comparison Golovkin prove that

    3. He needs to change weight class. If Froch beats Groves again he's beaten the number 2 (Froch) and 3 (Kessler) and after that there are a bunch of guys he's already beat (Bika, Rodriguez, Abraham) and the other guys are also B-Level at best. I'm not suggesting though he just moves up- he's talks about fighting the likes of Golovkin and Martinez, but how about he move down, like Dawson did for him, as those two- unlike Ward, have unfinished business in their division. And if Ward cannot move down, well move up and fight Hopkins, Stevenson, Kovalev or Pascal.

    4. He needs to accept drug testing is now an acceptable part of the sport. His refusal to take the test for the Rodriguez fight will make other fighters suspicious that they are going in with a cheater who's following in the well trodden paths of fellow Americans Roy Jones, Shane Mosley, Evander Holyfield and James Toney- who also looked sensational on the juice.

:good The only person who is stopping Ward from having big fights is Ward himself.

Yawn. You Ward-Haters will never live down the fact that GGG is ducking the man.

Here's some food for thought. He's been in much bigger fights than GGG

    GGG's last purse- 400k

    Ward's last purse- 2.1 million

    GGG's resume- Complete trash

    Ward's #2 p4p in the sport.

Ward- Dominated his division (Cleaned the **** out)

GGG- Hasn't beaten 1 top fighter in MW.

I don't hate Ward, and yawn and you GGG hates.

I agree, he's got a much better resume, been in much bigger fights and is the pound for pound number 2, maybe even number 1- but what's that ghot to do with this thread? I'm saying Ward is stopping Ward from having big fights- nobody else.

What was his last viewing figures on HBO in comparison to Golovkin's, even though Ward was in with a better fighter? :think

Viewing figures must be the end all be all for you GOLOV-Tards

What was GGG's payday if he's such a popular figure?

    400k

    Ward- 2.1 million

    :hi:

Even Edwin Rodriguez made 800k.:rofl

And for good reason, he's proven to be the best at 168 beating elite fighters while seldom losing rounds in the process.:deal He's the #2 P4P fighter in the game.

Exactly. He will be someone who only gets one fight a year, and it won't be against someone above Rodriguez level, who just wants a payday.

Anyone with any name value Hopkins, Stevenson, Pascal, Kovalev, Froch, Kessler, Groves, Chavez, Martinez, Golovkin, Strum etc, can make far more money by fighting each other, in different places than Oakland and having to make less money than Ward for the fight.

People forget boxing is a business.

Explain why Ward makes so much money fighting in Oakland then?

Please don't be a manager. :hi:

He will get those big PPV fights soon enough. Mayweather didn't fight big ppv fights until he was 30. Ward isn't even 30 yet. :rofl:hi:

Oh and his last fight wasn't even in OAKLAND. :hi:

We aren't talking about what he's done in his past- we are talking about his future. At what point in my OP did I argue about Ward's ability and P4P standing?

Unless he makes changes to the way he manages his career, he isn't getting any big fights.
