I don't know who will win, but, at this time, I give a slight edge to Shafikov.

I will give my 100% correct prediction right after the fight is over, I am never wrong...............

He is probably the #2 p4p Russian behind Kovalev, and if he soundly beats El Titere will have a legitimate argument to be #1. No lower than #3 and that is only if you are gaga for Povetkin.

Allakhverdiev probably comes the closest after that, along with Lebedev and Korobov...and then Grad & Provo. (who are both solid fighters who deserve to be champions on heart if not talent, but despite their recent successes honestly are fairly limited and benefited from being in the right place at the right time)

Ryoto Murata is fighting Carlos Nascimento (29-3) in his 3rd pro fight and Mekhontsev is on the undercard too.

Shibata, the other Japanase Murata made his debut against was highly ranked too. Good to see they keep Mekhontsev busy as they said they would. :thumbsup

The plan for Murata after this fight is Japan for fight #4 and then SINGAPORE for fight #5

what time does this card start?, looks decent with a very interesting main event. I'm in the UK but US times will do.

I've liked Shafikov for a long time and would be happy for him to be champ, Vazquez is very solid though and could very well win this on points.

It airs on HBO2 @ 5pm EST, but I'm still completely in the dark as to whether or not that will be live, or same-day tape delay from Saturday morning.

That seems like its on tape delay, i seem to remember watching the china cards live at 12-4pm UK time. This one could be different though. Hope we find out for sure.

So then HBO2 is delayed, as I suspected. :verysad

Zou's debut and sophomore bouts were both on tape delay in the US and were actually shown live in other countries several hours earlier (in the early morning for us)...but his last one happened in the very early morning local time in Macao to accommodate HBO PPV in the US, with Pacquiao vs. Rios as main event.

I guess they are back to his old pattern, then.

5'5" vs 5'10" iron chinned mexican with fairly good workrate... this might be very, very hsrd for shafikov. Vazguez points victory is very possible. I hope shafikov wins. We finns have been watching denis from the very early of his career. Would be so great if this humble yet engertaining little man to win world title.:good
