Props to Cotto for taking on this big challenge. Pacquiao wanted no parts of Martinez, even at 150, and Mayweather didn't want any at 154. If only these two clowns had Cotto's balls...

    Sergio by KO. :yep

Yea i dont bet big often. I bet Pac against DLH, Mosley against Margarito, Mayweather by KO over Hatton and more recently had Porter over Alexander +500!!

This one fits the billing. Its very unkown how Martinez will look, plus i gotta be honest, HE DOESNT KEEP HIS HANDS UP!! Your not gonna beat Cotto like that at all.

    Cotto baby!! :bbb:bbb

Unless Martinez knee is shot he wont need to keep his hands up though. Cotto not going to be hitting much but air I dont think.

Unless his body pulls a Barker I doubt much Cotto can throw at him will bother him much even if it lands. Cotto did not even do a lot at 154, and Martinez can take shots from people much larger than himself, which Cotto is not.

Of course his physical condition is the big wild card.

Martinez gets hit alot and has been down like 4 of his last 5 fights! I seen no reason why Cotto cant. Plus he'll be throwng more body shots then head shots, thats the key. having Roach is huge IMO, he will come up with good gameplan

Thinking about making the trip over for this one. It can't be in the Theatre - gotta be in the main building, this is a huge fight

The reach advantage is huge for Martinez.

67" plays 73" - and this is why Martinez will be able to carry his hands low - can't see this being a factor at all.

Cotto has to turn this into an inside brawl to get the W.

Should be a great occasion and something to put on the calendar.

When ever you keep your hands low in a boxing ring its always a factor. Why do u think hes been down so much??

I do agree that it will be an epic night. I do expect martinez to bring it but the preesure will get to him. Both guy bleeding for sure

A lot of his knockdowns are due to poor balance, as a pose to his hand position - Chavez excluded.

I hope its a war. I think it will be. I think Martinez' legs are the big factor here. If his legs are truly going as the Murray fight suggests, Cotto has a great chance of getting inside and doing damage.
