How is it acceptable for Floyd to jerk around Khan like this?

I don't agree with Arum much, but he's on point on this issue. He's playing a game worst than most promoters, creating a false sense of interest in fighting a fighter, opening negotiations, then all the voting nonsense.

We criticize Golden Boy and Arum all the time for their BS, but this is no different. In fact, it's worse. At least a promoter will just turn you down or refuse to negotiate. Floyd is d*cking around with 2 fighters like an immature schoolgirl. It's like high school all over against with the cheery-picking primadonna.

**** Khan. If he shouldn't have ducked Alexander. If he beat him, he'd be first in line

Means nothing. So what, just because a girl is hot, it gives her the right to be immature and act stupid?

There was a lot of fan backlash in regards to Khan. So once Maidana beat Broner, Floyd called an audible. Arum's criticism is beyond silly. Khan is not a child. He could've easily fought in the fall. He could've easily given a hard deadline to get the fight done. He took a risk and it might not work out for him.

He's done nothing in recent memory to warrant the fight. He should be flattered to even have his name mentioned because hopefully that is all thats going to happen here

I have more of a problem with Floyd actually fighting Khan than "jerk[ing] him around like this". The guy shouldn't even be in the discussion. If I were to make a list of guys I'd like to see Mayweather fight, Khan wouldn't even crack the top ten.

They could do that, but they would just be bitting of their nose despite their face.

You're nothing but an apologist. I wasn't planning to buy anyway, so it changes nothing. Your character is very questionable by supporting this kind of immaturity.

Why do people think fighters are ENTITLED to fight Floyd? When you're #1PPV, everyone gets in line.

And that's OK. If a fighter has no interesting in fighting another fighter, don't negotiate. There is no point in engaging in bad faith negotiations other than to waste the time of everyone.

The voting BS started after they started negotiating and even though he Khan won the vote, Floyd isn't interested. But Floyd didn't say NO, because he's afraid the fight could fall through with Maidana.

Like I said, it's a silly schoolgirl game.
