If John Murray beats John Simpson on the Ricky Burns card in March then I'm hearing a lot of people saying he will be put in with Anthony Crolla on the Manchester bill in April?

What are peoples thoughts on this fight? How does it go? Does it excite anyone?

I personally think its a good fight and its always good to see a local derby. There could be a bit of needle there seing as they are former stablemates under Joe Gallagher.

I know he has been very inactive but I can actually see Murray winning this fight if its made.

All about how John does with Simpson and how he looks. If he wins and looks good doing it then i think it's a good fight.

Murray would then of shaken the ring rust off properly against a good fighter albeit a man who's not really a natural lightweight but still a competitive enough fight to see whether John's still got it in the tank.

If he beats Simpson but looks average or scraps home via luck or late salvage job then i think Crolla and his people should look elsewhere and so should fans..

Billy I think this is going to be a very tough fight for Murray but just have to fancy him as the bigger man. I dont like Simpson at Lightweight at all, although I understand he has to take these opportunities when they come and I wish you and him luck in the fight.

I hope that Eddie Hearn can get Simpson in some good fights at Feather/Super-Feather on future shows in Glasgow as at then weights he is a different animal and would give anybody a run for their money.

The Simpson fight will be a tough one for his return. Simpson may have been stopped last time out and not a natural Lightweight but on his night he could take anyone on the domestic scene. It could be a *******.

Murray of a few years back would of smashed Colla into next week but in fairness to Crolla he has improved massively and whether Murray can get back to his best is questionable
