The only reason I can think of is that he would get spectacularly KOd by Mayweather like Hatton was.

I'd love to see Khan laid out cold again.

    Maidana is being considered.

Maidana is a bigger puncher than Floyd.

Khan defeated Maidana, nearly stopping him.

There's more, but that should do for starters.

As much as I would love to see con man laid out again, he just isn't deserving of this kind of fight...

And? That was years ago... As of late, Con has looked **** while Maidana is coming off of a win over Broner, and is riding a 4 fight win streak. Con BARELY got past Julio Diaz :patsch Had that fight taken place in the states it might have gone the other way.

How long ago was that though? Khan has declined Maidana has improved

Maidana would definitely beat Khan in a rematch

The perfect scenario would be Khan vs Maidana II on Floyd's next fight's undercard but he doesnt have anyone else to fight

They really needed Broner to win that fight

Because people dislike Khan and want to see him beat. That the only guess I got.

Con wouldn't take that fight anyways.... He knows he's finished, and is playing the waiting game.. if he fights again it'll be against another soft opponent, he doesn't want to jeopardize the potential Mayweather payday.

Neither man is much of a test for Floyd at this stage, but Khan has definitely more chance as he's the more skilled boxer.

If you watch the Maidana-Alexander bout, Maidana has absolutely nothing to trouble Floyd. At least with Khan, it might be an interesting fight.

BTW, I've stated a number of times on here and on ESB, before and since the Maidana fight, that Broner was hugely overrated.

We would feel better about it if he showed a return to form against a top guy first. Why does he have to get the next shot? I'm afraid he will just show up with no heart to cash out.

No. neither one has changed much. If anything, Khan has very slightly improved and Maidana is about the same.

No. He would have the puncher's chance he had last time.

Absolutely ! This is what I would like to see. Have Maidana-Khan 2 first.

Broner was never as good as he thought he was.

Fact of the matter is at this point Maidana is the more deserving of the two, and that's what it boils down to.....

Con is FINISHED. He struggled with Julio Diaz, a fringe contender and just barely got out with the win.

Glass jawed khan would still be more competitive than maidana and mainly because floyd is not a big puncher.
