Nope, the reason Froch looks nervy and agitated I think is because deep down he knows Groves is that good. He was trying to convince himself that he was a different class before the 1st fight but he simply isn't. At the first bell you can see that Froch is nervy and apprehensive about throwing punches, that's because he knew Groves was much quicker and could punch. Groves is that good and Froch knows it.

I don't like Froch, infact i can't stand the fella. I'm also a self confessed GG fan which i've been from the start of his career.

I have to be honest though.

Froch beats Groves fairly easily in the rematch, that's hard to admit too but GG blew his chance in the first fight and i'm not just talking about the rather premature stoppage as it was pretty clear GG was weakening from the Froch pressure and i just find it hard to imagine he would have survived another 3 rounds even if he would have somehow survived the 9th.

I just don't see GG topping the first performance, pretty much everything went right for him and he still ended up being ground down and was on the way to being stopped if it hadn't been a premature one. I actually think Howard Foster did him a favour by stopping it early as if the fight had played out to it's natural conclusion with Froch stopping him later in the 9th round or the 10th then i doubt there would be as many calls for the rematch as there has been.

I hope i'm proved wrong and GG wins the rematch but i'm afraid to say i don't think i will be. I was actually hoping GG wouldn't take the Froch rematch and rather target Sakio Bika or Robert Stieglitz for a World title shot as they are fair better fight for him at this stage of his career.

You do realise they have sparred together? They are well aware of how good or not the other is.

Whoever advised George to take the rematch is a snake. Groves is only 25 years and needed to be advised to look elsewhere and come back to the Froch fight next year once he's had a bit more world championship experience and maturity.

It's hard for me to say but it's going to end badly for Groves and i think he's going to be brutally knocked out this time within 8 rounds.

The best advice would have been for him to ask for a 50% split of everything for the rematch or no deal, that would have been turned down straight away and he could have then walked away from the rematch without any one saying he was ducking it or didn't want it.

I would have then got him signed with Goldenboy who could give him a World title fight with Sakio Bika and build him up in America as a star. Even Toprank could have provided him fights with Ward, Chavez jr and GGG and there was the option of staying in Europe with either Frank or Sauerland and going after Robert Stieglitz which would be an almost certain World title for GG.

No, I don't think Froch would do that as he is very professional. I think he showed his age but also that he would have won in the end without the early stoppage.

I would love to see GG win the rematch but for the reasons i stated above i think Froch will win it and win it impressively.

If GG couldn't win the first when pretty much everything went his way, how the hell is he going to win the rematch especially as i doubt he'll do as well this time.

I don'r like saying Froch wins rematch as he's probably my least favourite British boxer but unfortunately i have to call it like i see it.

Stop making excuses for Froch. He is a terrible boxer in comparison to the greats. Andre Ward, even though he is p4p number 2 (a testament to how weak boxing is today), is a good boxer (not all time great), and completely destroyed Froch.

Who has Froch beaten outside of a washed up Glen Johnson, and padded record Abraham and Bute (who have never beaten anyone notable)? Froch also got a gift from the ref vs Groves and the judges vs Dirrell. Froch's win over Pascal is not impressive because Pascal is nowhere near the same fighter he was then. Pascal today would crush Froch. And Jermain Taylor was a blind squirrel who stumbled across an acorn vs Bernard Hopkins, and did nothing since then. After his 15 minutes of fame Taylor disappeared quickly, so another weak mark on Froch's record. The Brits should stick to cricket and football because boxing is not for them.

I don't get what your saying? It's as if yor saying gg was lucky in the first fight that everything went his way (which it didn't in regards to **** ref hitting after break etc) and he's not gonna have a good as a performance this time?

    What makes you think that?

I think gg goes into this bout more confident and more knowledgable of his opponent. I think he knows he has to work on his fuel tank also.

I had you down as a complete idiot, but your nowhere near that clever. :patsch
Groves has always had a questionable engine, now unless Harry Potters in his corner, it ain't improving anytime soon.
