Guillermo is one of my favourite fighters right now and no one can deny that P4P he is one of the most talented fighters on the Planet. My question is quite simple : since he has a strap now and is considered the SBW on the planet does that make him a draw?

    Yes or no?

Well looking at all those empty seats in his last fight and the fact that he was taken off of HBO due to low ratings, it's fairly obvious..

I know I am only trying prove a point to someone who post on these boards and claims he knows everything about boxing.

One of the best boxers in the game but he doesn't have the fan friendly style that will make him a draw. His skills aren't flashy.....they are real subtle which makes it hard for untrained eyes to appreciate.

A big draw? How can he be? Are you kidding me?

For me, Rigon is just one of the most boring boxers I have ever watched in the ring.

Take a look at the poll now dude!

It's a tough reality in boxing that talent and ability doesn't always translate to dollars. Rigondeaux is going to have to be paired up with the right opponents to shine and excite. So far, everyone has been very gun-shy in with him and it has made for some exceedingly boring bouts. So he could be a draw if his promotional team can get him the right opponents, but that's a tough task. Some better pre/post fight charisma could help, too.

Last time it was Showtime vs HBO and the Kirkland fight on the same show did poor numbers. Rigo met a unknow african . At se same time Judah and Malignaggi met.

You colud say he had alle reasons to do poor numbers that night

No, as i stated earlier I am trying to prove a point to someone who claims they know everything about boxing and claims Rigo is a draw because he is the best in his division and has a belt

This guys argument was that since he is the best fighters are lining up to get a crack at him to prove that they are the best and that makes him a draw:D

What I told buddy is that in order for him to get on the radar he would have to move up like floyd and Pac did to face bigger challenges. there are other things he could do but what he is doing right now just aint working
