Roberto Duran was shoter in height and had a shorter reach than Floyd Mayweather, yet he became middleweight champion when he defeated Iran Barkley.

Floyd Mayweather will never win a belt at middleweight because he will never take on an opponent slightly bigger than himself, like Sergio Martinez or Gennady Golovkin. However, Floyd has never had a problem fighting smaller men like Juan Manuel Marquez and reach-challenged Ricky Hatton.

Duran never ducked anybody. His achievements are greater than Floyds. Instead of cherry-picking old faded fighters like Shane Mosley or flawed fighters coming off a loss like Zab Judah, instead of ducking prime lightweights, welterweights and middleweights, Duran was always willing to fight the best boxers in their prime.

Even fighters much bigger than himself like Iran Barkley!

Is this a trick question ...duh it's Mayweather

Mayweather beating Corrales > Duran entire career

Mayweather vs Pacquiao = Maywaether : My health come first.

Duran vs Pacquiao = Duran : I minus well just shoot myself in the head with a 357.

When Duran fought Barkley for the middleweight title, he never demanded a catch weight even though he was a much smaller man than Barkley.

WTF is wrong with you? Floyd just gave an interview where he says he's the GOAT, and bashes Muhammad Ali (who can't respond to him due to his Parkinson's disease).

How anyone can seriously vote for Mayweather and be over 20 is beyond me. All you need to do is watch one fight, Duran vs Barkley and that it.

Agreed, his loss to Hagler was unique in that he was the first guy to go 15 rounds with Hagler in a title bout and was actually ahead on the cards after 12 rounds. Unbelievable.
