    Yeah. He needs some top talent who come to fight, and not another counter-puncher, someone aggressive.

    Rigondeaux couldn't draw flies to his own funeral.

    Floyd has proven that you can be a "boring" fighter and still be a draw.

    The problem with Rigo is that he has too many obstacles to overcome;
    "boring" style.
    No charisma
    Fights in the lower weights and has no intention of moving up.

    Even with his less-than-exciting boxing style and lack of charisma they can try to build on his ZERO and his air of invincibility but unfortunately he does not have "big-name" opposition to help him.

    It doesn't look like Rigo has been promoted in the best way possible. Style wise, some better opponents could've been selected prior to him fighting Donaire. As for fans, I think some of the Cuban fighters like Rigo, Gambo, and Lara could draw some good crowds in Miami and built a decent following.

    Funny how people talk about money and tv rating instead of skill you don't heard too many boxers calling him out even Santa Cruz father advised him to stay clear of Rigo how you are blaming a guy for making look bad another fighter I don't give a **** about rating or network I love to see a great boxer putting a clinic stop being a promoter and enjoy a rare talent while it last.

    Thats the thing... unless his promoter can figure out how to make money with him, he is not going to fight often or with interesting opponents. Thats why people talk about money and TV ratings.

    Low class fighters never make too much money Rigo is used to this, he is not demanding mega money with Nonito he made 750K but I recalled him making 50 and 75K defending his belt money is not an issue with him I think is a good excuse for other boxers to avoid him like a plague.

    there's a reason why wwe pro-wrestling is bigger than boring tactical real wrestling.

    So basically he needs more opponents like Teon Kennedy? Fighters that will voluntarily run into rehearsed punch combinations and counters all night.

    My fav fighter and I've voted no, he's to much of a technician to be box office and given he's Cuban.....

    He's only appreciated by the purists
