Burns is a decent fighter but in all honestly he is a Paper Champ and hasn't really fought anyone to prove he deserves to be a World Champion. He should have lost his title to beltran but somehow the judges managed to score it draw yet another disgraceful decision in british boxing. Any good world level fighter would beat burns in my opinion but i'm not sure if Crawford is.

My gut is saying Burns will lose but the big question is will the Ref/judges allow it as we all know Britain is the worst place for a a foreign fighter to come to

Ricky Burns beat no.1 in the division Roman Martinez at super-featherweight, so he has been a legit World Champion.

No other current fighter in Britain has beat the No.1 in their division.
In fact you would have to go back to Joe Calzaghe to find the last one since Ricky Burns.

The ignorance of posters on this forum is outstanding.

As above. Ricky Burns beat Roman Martinez who was was the top champion in the division in which Ricky was fighting at that time and has every right to call himself A world champion.

Now please shut up you ignoramus.

Don't think Burns stops him although Billy has said on here he's stronger and hitting harder just need to see how that carries into the fight but I can see him outpointing Crawford who I've seen against Prescott and Klimov and while he has good movement and can switch hit he doesn't throw enough for me so Ricky could simply pinch this one on workrate.

Crawford is skilled but only fought especially picked fighters who let him do as he wishes and didnt pressure him this will change sat, he hasnt fought top calibre yet and to me his work rate is low and has average power. Burns on points after he mugs crawford toe to toe for 12 rounds

Crawford has one big question mark against him for me skill wise he ticks many boxes.

He will be put under intense pressure Saturday Burns is the bookies underdog & i hope Billy & the team play on that at the last press conference & weigh in.

Crawford will be forced to fight at a higher pace than he is used to & Burns to me has to back him up & take him out of his fighting comfort zone which i think will be the key to him being able to win on points.Pressure does strange things to fighters Burns has been here before Crawford hasn't first time in a title fight away from home 9/4 Burns decent value bet.

This will look like the Gonzalez fight in my opinion, Crawford has serious skills. I expect a wide UD for Crawford or a late stoppage, would like to be proved wrong though.
