sounds like khan needs a new promoter. golden boy told khan to sign a contract and to not fight devon alexander, now there is no signature on the other end. what is khan paying golden boy promoter fees for exactly

Void has no shame...................Khan should have known that he could not believe a woman beater..................Ward's article on how Khan's speed and power would give Void trouble probably made Void extremely afraid. Void shakes whenever he hears Pac's name mentioned.............

That's Floyd's way of creating interest in his fights. He handpicks no-hoper candidates but signs no contract, then creates some fake poll so people talk about him while he doesn't pick his opponent for months. It's pretty sad but works well with his dumb US fanbase.

I'm glad they took the twitter champion on a ride and hopefully he learns from it. He did the same to Alexander back when it mattered, he kept stalling only to go back and talk trash on twitter. Hiding for one year to avoid getting sparked by anyone random and winning twitter polls isn't getting you a major payday.

    It's hard to like Mayweather.

Khan is no angle but Mayweather is a whole other level of scumbag.

This is an interesting comment as Floyd really hasn't said much about the matter. Kahn has been the one issuing statements and posting Tweet's voicing his frustration with not getting that he wants.

Boxing is a business. When it was only Khan's name in the mix, fans were unhappy. Now that it seems Floyd will choose an opponent who currently holds a title, has a high KO ratio and is latino (fight is taking place on Cino De Mayo, after all) which makes the most financial sense.

What B level fighters has he fought if Maidana and him have a similar list of wins over top Welter weights and in your opinion Maidana is only a C class fighter.

I agree Matthysse should have won vs Alexander, if I remember my score correctly I had Matthysse winning by a point.

    Close fight.

As was Kotelnik vs Alexander in which I thought Kotelnik won.

    1) Khan should've never been in the running for a spring fight with Floyd.

    2) Yes, Khan should earn his shot if he wants a chance in the fall or winter. Fight Porter or Thurman or something.

    3) Still a dick move by Floyd. There's nothing Khan could do once negotiations actually got rolling; you don't sign to make another fight when you're in negotiations with the biggest money fight you could possibly have. Had he signed to fight Devon, people would be calling him an idiot for turning away the biggest fight (and payday) he could possibly hope for.

Pretty obvious that Khan didn't fight Alexander because he thought he was getting a Floyd fight. That makes sense. Floyd seems to have messed everybody around. **** happens.

Khan and GBP both been silly.

Were they all that worried about Khan losing to Alexander that they rather Amir not fight anyone.

The aim should have been, beat alexander and then have something to build on to get a fight with floyd.

staying inactive and being on twitter all day asking fans to tell floyd to fight khan is just plain stupidity.

you mean he was scared of getting beat and blowing his chance to fight floyd.

No. Khan might not be the GOAT but he has plenty of confidence. Khan may be a lot of things but scared of losing to Alexander is not one of them. If you have a choice between fighting either Alexander or Mayweather, it's an easy decision. Khan's people are saying they were told not to fight Devon.

Khans team kept him away from the ring for a year- to hold out for a floyd fight, he couldve fought 2 more times and still have 5 months to train for a floyd fight.

the reason they did not do that is because there was a good chance he will get sparked and lose out on the big pay day.

It was cash out time and everybody on team Khan knows it

    except khan

    this!!

could have easily fought devon and floyd afterwards.

I am really interested to see what Team Khan and GBP do now.

For me the logical fight is vs Kell Brook in the UK or try get rematch vs danny garcia.
