Haha actually I'm not sure whether the article is sure which one it's referring to - admittedly they are mentioning Liston taking a dive so it sounds like they're referring to the 2nd fight but thought it was a release of info under the 50 year freedom of information thing so if it's that then it would have to be the first fight so god knows?? What the story really implies is that the mob thought they had the fight fixed and then realised they didn't - the guy starts by confidently predicting the round Liston is going to win then suddenly changes his advice to not putting money on at all. More likely there's nothing in it. It's a story told years later by some gambler claiming that another gambler hinted that something was going on. Not exactly compelling evidence.
