Not at all , i dont believe hes afraid of either Khan or Maidana .

Hes just aware of what styles would pose a lesser threat to him because as you all know STYLES MAKES FIGHTS .

Although Marcos is an excellent puncher , unfortunately hes slow , no defense and head movement .

Floyd is very aware he would have an easier night dealing with Maidana style .

Maidana has a better chance than Khan. That's not saying much, but I laugh when people talk about how Khan is this tough style matchup for Floyd. The fight would consist of Mayweather taking 1 or 2 rounds to figure out Khan and then beating the crap out of him from there on.

Khan is probably one of the least technically skilled world class fighters that people call a "good boxer", and it's mainly just because he has some speed. Some speed and range. Not accurate, not intelligent, not good in the areas of defense, balance, footwork, adaptability, chin. Decent pop, nothing more. His balance and composure is so poor that he often practically falls into his opponent after throwing a right hand. He throws arm flurries without leverage and the punches don't create and exploit openings, and people go "oh, look at his combo punching!" LOL

The proverbial "puncher's chance" that Maidana has, well that's really low. But it's better than Khan's chances.

Bottom line: Both are mismatches.

 

Khan would absorb Floyds best shot . Floyds Last "knockout" was Ortiz and will be the last KO victory of his career .

I agree Maidana/Mayweather would sell more ppvs due to Maidana being a Knockout Artist and all .

But Marcos did not win the poll .

Between Maidana and Khan, Maidana deserved the fight. I'm glad Maidana got the fight over Khan.

But this was similar to choosing between a **** option and a shittier option. I wonder why Mayweather only made these two the front runners? :-(
