Right... Ortiz was also touching him a little bit and had him in the corner a few times. Didn't win a round, but was putting up a semi decent effort prior to the headbutt/kissing/sucker punch ending.

Southpaws work well against his style. You won't see him fight a top caliber one.

How many southpaws are in his weight class anyways?? Pac and Lara, thats it. He'll at least fight one of those before he retires

Precisely, they could build that fight up very easily. Also attaining another LMW title against the perceived best LMW and a test against a great boxer.

That could sell just as well as any of these no hopers, if not more, but it's a difficult fight and won't happen. His fans will defend him saying "well, why would he take a risk when he could make the same fighting X".

Sure, business wise I understand. But I'm going to historically rate him as a fighter and his fans all but show he isn't in the same league as other greats that took the risks to become great.

The Pac fight is way past it's sell date and will never happen.

Lara? We'll see, I highly doubt it. Though if he does and there's no dumb drain to 150 stipulations, he'd get a lot of due credit for it.

Khan should be Mayweather next opponent, its riskier than Maidana, his only 2 other options are Cotto /if he beats Martinez/ or Angulo /if he beats Canelo/

Khan would take a lot of those because he's there to be hit, and Floyd wouldnt be worried about his size. He'd be the first person in a while that doesnt hold a huge size advantage over him.

Floyd lands 50+ percent of power punches against fighters. Khan jaw would be in for murderers row all night.

Oh no, Khan is nothing. He's been KO'd and almost KO'd by Diaz and is finished at the top level. That doesn't make Maidana a good opponent, it just means Khan should have never been considered.

Maidana earned it! he did it the right way! He's one 3 in a row and won the WBA title from Broner. Now wether u think Broner stinks or not Maidana won fair and square and won the WBA title.

Mayweather chose the right fighter in this one. AS fans we always compalin theres to many DAMN BELTS!!! Well Mayweather is trying to shorting that up and unify the belts. How can people complain that Mayweather shouldn't fight Madiana when hes a champ in his OWN WEIGHT CLASS!! It doesnt make sense so stop the hating.

Im very proud of Mayweather, he made the right decision. Khan hasnt done a damn thing and we all know he hasnt. If he would've at least not duck Alexander and got the IBF title he might've had a better chance but he didnt. He sat around like a hooker on a street corner and Mayweather didnt come thru, thats his fault.

Now if we can get more fighters like Mayweather trying to unfiy then we'll have more reconzied champs in boxing. way to many titles in our sport and we need titlist to fight each other.

Great job Mayweather, looks like he will be the only fighter that's held 2 major titles and 2 lineal titles in 2 weight class at the same time. Add to the Resume :bbb:bbb

Neither fight is really any good.

There's a real dearth of interesting matchups for Mayweather at 147.

Very true but he chose the right one for damn sure. Mayweather and boxing itself would take a hit if Khan would've got the fight. I mean what would they be telling fighters? dont do a damn thing and actually turn down meaniful fights like Khan did with Alexander and get rewarded? Good choice from Mayweather

Proud? You don't know the guy and he couldn't give a **** whether you live or die.

If you think it was the better fight then cool but for you own sake man get a grip. Proud...
