No, he would not pose a good threat, even with a better chin. If Khan could fight smart all the time, he would not be Amir Khan.

Wow, Khan won the first 2 rounds against Garcia. Is that supposed to be some amazing thing? He wins a couple rounds with speed and then gets caught. He has poor defense and leaves himself open, and gets timed. But since he's fast, everyone says "oh he's such a good skilled boxer....the other guy got lucky" or "Oh he was outboxing him until the guy hit him". Part of skills is actually being able to know and control distance and tempo. Knowing where to place your feet and body. Being able to slip and block punches, countering, etc...

Maidana and Pedersen constantly got to him because of his poor footwork and defense, or simply being timed. Not his "bravado". He throws a left jab while backing up and gets badly hurt by the an overhand right by Maidana. What does that have to do with his "bravado"? He constantly went to the ropes because of poor foot placement, not luring a guy in like a Mayweather or Toney.

Khan has some speed and range, and a nice jab. Little else. Not accurate, not intelligent, not good in the areas of defense, balance, footwork, adaptability, chin.

Khan might win more rounds (like 2) than Maidana. But Maidana has a slight puncher's chance to land a Hail Mary. Mind you, I give him like a 1% chance of winning, if I'm being generous. That ever-so-slim chance of him landing a Hail Mary is higher than the chances of Khan doing something worth a damn after the first 2 or 3 rounds.

I don't claim to be proud of these people either do I? At what point did I claim that any boxer or athlete I have gave my 2 cents on gives a ****? There is a difference between giving your opinion and feeling pride in a strangers achievements. It's why nationalism is bull****

Also you moron the phrase is "couldn't care less" as it means the opposite of what I imagine you're feebly trying to achieve if you say they could care less. Care less than about what? That would mean care more than something dumbass.

Thanks for the tip. I've got some advice for you too. Log off, you're embarrassing yourself.

In the Philippines, the Kbros in Germany and floyd in North America . . . Floyd is like an anti-hero or a heel as they call it in wrastlin. If any fighter could claim to be today's Icon it is Floyd.

Oscar was the biggest Icon in the early 2000s and floyd has taken that title since then.

Tyson was the biggest icon of the 90s.

the Four kings where THE ICONS of the 80s

Ali was the icon of the late 60s and 70s

your an intelligent poster but sorry bro, gotta disagree with you.

here is a dictionary definition of an icon:

a person or thing regarded as a representative symbol or as worthy of veneration.

    veneration
    vɛnəˈreɪʃ(ə)n/
    noun
    noun: veneration; plural noun: venerations
    1.
    great respect; reverence.

now Pac will fight for free . . . lol.

Love pac but his tards are as dumb as a bag of rocks. 40 mill is called an offer, Pac made a counter offer of 50-50 and hung up . . . i guess he doesnt understand how the negotiation thing works. He also does not know how to use a phone because he has never called Floyd personally to make the fight:lol:.

love Pac . . . but you guys must surely see he is only using Floyds name trying to promote his fight with Bradley (who cannot draw flies to ****)

Yeah he deserved it more than Khan, agreed. That said, Mayweather by KO or wiiiide decision. And I'm talking 120-96 wide here.

Sorry man, but there are several definitions of Icon.

Micheal Jackson was a Icon but people thought he was a child molester, OJ is an Icon . . . and you know his story.
