I've watched most of his fights at least twice except for maybe his pre Genaro Hernandez fights.

This is where Mayweather fans go wrong in defense of a duck thats so obvious.
There is'nt any question that the Margarito that was beating down Kermit Cintron and fighting Paul Williams close, would have taken Carlos Baldomir to the woodshed.

The reality here is that Baldomir lucked into the title by getting his chance to fight for it against "mental midget" Zab Judah.
Judah as we all know has no respect for the sport and it as undiciplined a fighter as they come.

When Mayweather was fighting Baldomir, he should have been fighting Margarito as he was offered the biggest payday of his career by far to do so and turned it down.
There's a reason that during the Baldomir fight, people that included celebrities got out there chairs and walked out. Not only was Mayweather fighting an extremely cautious fight vs "no punch" Baldomir, but everyone of those people knew Mayweather should have been fighting Margarito, Paul Williams, or Miguel Cotto.

Who's Margarito though. His only 1 significant win is tainted by the possibility of him cheating. He has beat 1 good fighter, Cotto. NOBODY else….:rofl

Just curious to know what people think is the reason why millions buy his PPV's. Is it because they hate him and want to see him lose? Is it because they admire his skill set?

    What is it?

dude…..what part of neither of those guys were big fighters at the time don't you understand?

in 2007 P will and Marg fought, P will won. Later that year in Dec of 07 Mayweather fought Hatton, in Feb of 2013 P will got out boxed by Quintana. In 2007 Cotto fought the GREAT Oktay Urkal after he turned down Mayweather the previous 2 years while they were BOTH on Top Rank.

Losing to P Will, Losing to Quintana and defeating Oktay Urkal who happens to have 12 losses does not get you a fight with Mayweather. Get real……

Stop trying to revise history you clown:rofl

Ok so he has beat 1 ELITE fighter his entire career, and was caught cheating the next fight.

He beat Sergio Martinez when Martinez was not an elite fighter by any stretch of the imagination. Also once again, he lost to P will, while Mayweather was active (2007), Beat Cotto while Floyd was retired (2008), then lost to Mosley while Floyd was retired (early 2009)…….exactly when were they supposed to fight?:huh
