Said it before, and I'll say it again: You should have your ass kicked for calling Genaro Hernandez (RIP) a paper champion. Solid champion and a class act outside the ring. You're a ****ing punk. And frankly, I wish I could slap you myself for being so disrespectful to these boxers.

Troll account punk. Why don't you get a life? Maybe then you wouldn't have to focus so much on tearing the accomplishments of other men down. You F'ing loser. People like you make me sick.

    Buster Douglas destroying Mike Tyson!!!

    Iran Barkley halting "Tommy Hearns"

Douglas is'nt better all-time than Tyson and Barkley certainly is nowhere near the fighter Tommy Hearns was.

Styles make fights. There's always a lesser fighter with the right style that can trouble and even beat an ATG even in his prime.
Who's to say that Margarito would'nt have been Mayweather's kryptonite?
Margarito had the volume punching, chin, and stamina to take as many shots as Mayweather could dish and keep on coming.

I dont think Mayweather was afraid of Margarito's skills, but I do feel he ducked him for the simple reason that he did'nt want to find out if he could dig deep into the well if Margarito was unfazed by his punches.

Where most opponents stop in their tracks when Mayweather lands clean, I guarantee you one thing, Margarito was'nt going to be dettered like that.
He was going to make Mayweather work more than he's ever had to work simply because Margarito was going to be in full advance mode even with punches bouncing off him.
Watch the first Cotto fight if you dont think so and that Cotto punches much harder than Floyd.

We saw when he had power, at 130 he was 22-0 with 19 ko's I think, beasty. he got more defesive and he moved up plus his power went down when he did.

Still wouldnt be the greatest and preety much where he is now. paybe up like 5 more spots

Not so sure about that. The *******s tainted Pac for a lot of fans.

Also, FLoyd is a more astute cherrypicker than Pac. He likes to choose his
opponents coming off a big win, that always translates into more PPV's.

I agree with ElCyclon, Mayweather was always a a good boxer, great boxer but he blew up after and only after the De le hoya fight.

Thats only on the forums dude, nobody in real life hates Pacquiao. Mayweathe has lots of haters because people hate greatness.

Plus Blacks and Mexicans keep boxing alive in well in America, white folks watch MMA. SO Mayweather gets allo the black folks to buy his fights

One of the key things about Margarito's game that would trouble Mayweather is that Margarito is'nt a pinpoint type of accurate puncher.
Margarito threw in volume and he did'nt care where the shot landed.

Mayweather's defense works best against fighters who try to catch you pinpoint and clean.

I can envision Mayweather trying to shoulder roll and Margarito unleaching 8,9, 10 shots in a row all to the body without a care for return fire.
Thats prime Margarito and thats where things could turn sour for Mayweather because you cant shoulder roll body shots.

If Mayweather had KO power he would'nt be as quick, fast, or elusive.

The closest thing to the whole package speaking both offensively and defensively is a prime Roberto Duran.
Duran was called the "hands of stone" but even he did'nt have concussive power. It he had it, he'd be a little less sharp in other categories.
Alot of fight fans just dont understand simple logic like this.

  10. If Pacquiao had LEGIT defense, would he be greatest of all time?

    Margarito throwing 8-9-10 in a row :lol::lol::lol:

oh geez just stop i almost pissed my pants.

Margarito was a nobody. Judah was the champ and Mayweather still fought him because everybody that he was the most dangerous opponet yet for him. Mayweather didnt have to take that fight but he did then he fought the real champ in Baldo who pretty much fights likes Margarito and won 12-0

Some things despite being of a high standard simply don't have the style to be viewed twice. Take 'The Sixth Sense' movie for instance. Good film and all but very little reason to watch it more than once.

    Yes.

    Mayweather vs DLH
    Mayweather vs Corrales (RIP)
    Mayweather vs Hatton
Mayweather vs Castillo I and II
Mayweather vs Ortiz (For the hilarity)
    Mayweather vs Mosley
    Mayweather vs Marquez
    Mayweather vs Judah
    Mayweather vs Augustus
    Mayweather vs Hernandez
    Mayweather vs Cotto

Mayweather sure as hell doesn't come close to Ali when it comes to greatness but this thread is a complete failure.
