ofc 1punch ko power, u dont win fights by getting smashed about for 12 rounds, u win by throwing punches, and if u can end it with 1 punch, even better.

 

but then you have a glass chin! you cant have both given the stipulations!

 

Granite chin, but with a good defense. Just cuz I have a good chin don't mean I'll let you hit me! But it's a good confidence booster knowing even a big puncher won't intimidate you too much. You really don't need ko power when you can force stoppages.

 

I granite chin with decent punching power. Because if I can't get em with one shot I can at least wear them down overtime before landing a good shot.

 

I think Jerry Quarry is the saddest example of what can happen when you're good at taking a pummeling to the dome over the years. I mean yeah, with KO power and Glass Jaw you can cherry pick but you know what's the point in even being a boxer if you're not gonna take on all comers?

 

If the power has a way of landing accurately with speed and delivery then I choose power.


But i'd rather have a decent chin and an avg but decent pop. Basically balancing it out.
