The fact that he tragically died has nothing to do with the fact that he NEVER EVER beat a top level opponent in his whole career (Nelson was way past it). EVER. end of discussion.

Nelson was past his best, but was coming off an impressive win over Leija; and was still a dangerous guy. And the manner in which is was done (after being fouled after the 7th) was pretty impressive.

Also, Raul Jibaro Perez was no joke, and Hernandez handled him.

Chicanito was a bit underrated, imo....and was certainly no paper champ.

whats so impressive about being a champion when there are 4 belts per class, paper champions everywhere, and weak competition? It's not about the belts or the classes - its about the competition. Floyd's competition is weak outside of Marquez - who was undersized and tailor made.

Don't let the 0 fool you. He's not as good as you think.

Most definitely could see this happening.

I've always said that this fight would be a cross between PBF/Baldomir (frustrating Margo with movement and potshot accuracy) and SSM/Margo (lots of grappling to slow the attack) with a hint of the Clottey fight (repeatedly stepping out range of a slow Margo attack).

But the notion that Mayweather just stands there getting bombarded and worn down by volume without ad******g is hilarious.

Nope. I dont see how losing will make him better, that would mean he would've had to slip DRAMATCIALLY for anybody to beat him. Losing means it could be time to go because he really shouldnt lose to anybody boxing right now

There's an old saying that you learn more from a loss than you do from a win. However, some boxers go down after their first loss. Losing certainly didn't help Ricky Hatton. I guess it would depend on how Mayweather lost and who he lost to.

If floyd finally lost it would just mean he finally fought someone with a pulse.

its amazing it took 2 big shots especially the last one mayweather used all his force like his life depended on it and still ortiz was not completely out the boy has no power:rofl

even a average man has chance to punch someone while they are not aware the person would be completely out

    Absolutely :nono

Mayweather managed his career the best way he can, his luck, got him perfect DNA on both sides, psychological benefit of tasting bitter defeat passed to him by his father and loving uncle, protectionism by Bob Arum, kept him undefeated, then he toke it to another level on his own

Floyd, unique, the GOAT paydays, the GOAT matchmaker, the GOAT promoter

    Unbeatable, the perfect DUCK
