I agree with that but I basically see that fight as a sort of turning point for him where he then only became about making money and not about proving his ability.

The closeness of the fight seems to have pushed him away from bigger challenges that risked his 0 and towards more lucrative safer fights (generally).

I think, and its just my opinion, is that taking the loss around that time would have given his haters and detractors so much ammunition to throw at him and talk down his ability that he would have then wanted to prove a point to everyone.

 

Floyd has a huge complex about $$$ and his 0 - if he did legitimately lose he would be shattered

 

Age is slowing catching up to him. The signs are there. He trades more. He doesn't move as much. He's past his prime and losing will just be another sign but of course the haters will say otherwise. He's not going to get any better, when he's already the best of his generation.

 

I could see him going the Nassem Hamed route if he lost, but only worse. He would go mentally insane and who knows from there.

I would be in favor of banning people who make threads like this.

I would actually be in favor of moderators banning folks for their opinion of when a poster is out of line, even if "undeserved" by any technical terms.
