Joe is a HOF, but I agree that he's not an atg. I wonder what the perception would have been if Pernell didn't get robbed vs Jose Ramirez and he got the nod against Oscar and retired.

I guess there's too many "ifs" in there though :think

some posters would even probably argue that a "special loss" is better than a win, each involving hall of fame fighters..........e.g. fraziers loss to ali in thrilla in manilla is better than his wins over hall of fame fighters bob foster and jimmy ellis..............so to say posters are in love with the 0.....i am certainly not because im not a fickle, unitelligent, boxing fan who sees things at face-value.

there is no substitute to peak vs. peak, the best vs. the best.

ali fought foreman at his monster peak.

rjj beat hopkins/toney at their peaks/primes or closest to.

    pedjr drained a nobody.:rofl:rofl:rofl

'0' is important. This is how folks on ESB can tell apart iron-chinned warriors from glass-jawed hype jobs.

I don't pay too much mind to it. Look at Salido. He has loads of
losses yet is still a very good fighter. Pushed Gamboa all the way and dismantled juanma

When it comes to Donaire its not his loss its how he lost, he was OUTCLASSED completely, same goes for BUte vs Froch.
But "0" is overrated its more about who have you faced, a lot of bums are undefeated good damn joke CLeverly was undefeated "champion" and anyone with brain knew he will be KTFO, opposition fighter faced > "0" .

Yes, I very much care if a fighter has a "0" on his record.

How am I to feel about a professional boxer that has yet to record a single victory!?
