I don't care about 0's but to sit here and act like Mayweather fans are some unique ****** case and other fanbases wouldn't be doing the same thing if their favorite fighter were in the same position is BS. Mayweather fans brag about him being undefeated because he actually is undefeated. If Manny were undefeated, Pacquiao fans would brag about him being undefeated too, but they can't because he ISNT. Guys talk about Manny like he is invincible with losses early in his career (Torrecampo, Singuarat) losses in the middle of his career (Morales), and losses towards the end of his career (Marquez and Bradley). So he's essentially a fighter whose carreer is based n win streaks with losses in all junctions of his career but is rated as invisible by fans so imagine if he never lost.

 

Undefeated helps with the ticket sells

His skills is why the vast majority including his boxing peers and boxing analyst have had him P4P #1 for quite some time and regard him as best this era and best absolutely today. This also means they respect his resume.

They brag about his accomplishments and money and all that like they are mayweather himself, even though FLoyd doesn't even know they exist and they get no piece of his money and have nothing to do with him, other than obsessing over his every move. For so long, so many boxing sites just tolerated the behavior of the Pacquiao fanatics for clicks. Now that Pacmania has died down and there aren't hundreds of rabid nationalist Pacquiao fanatics spamming every boxing forum, everywhere has seemingly become less tolerant of their bull****. I find it amusing that many of them are legitimately confused as to why their insipid shitposting is being tolerated in fewer and fewer places.

When two undefeated fighters face each other, it automatically raises the stakes and the profile of the fight.

Oscar vs Tito wouldnt have been the matchup that it was if they werent both undefeated. Same for Floyd vs Hatton. To a lesser degree Jones vs Toney and Floyd vs Alvarez was the same.
