Very true, I pretty much considered Roy undefeated even though he technically wasn't. Having that one loss didn't hurt his standing at all.. And It didn't bother me not to see an 0 on his record.

Not really. An "zero" in the defeat column can often indicate that the fighter has good management rather than superior skills (Calzaghe).
However, in Mayweather's case, this is not true. Mayweather is undefeated because he is just simply levels above all challengers within his weight class. This is why doubters/distractors are always calling out for Mayweather to fight larger fighters like Canelo, GGG, etc.

Good point but he himself did care.

    From 11 min 20 seconds.

"I wanted to be undefeated too but when I got to Montell Griffin, they disqualified me. That ruined my undefeated record so even if i wanted to be undefeated like him (Joe Calzaghe) ,that ruined my chances of that so therefore i had to shift gears. I said, ok the undefeatedness is out the door, now I got to do something else so I said this is what I'll do - I'll go win the light-heavyweight title back then i'll go win the heavyweight title - nobody's did that in 106 years and then i'll come back and regain the light-heavyweight title. That would be my accomplishment because they killed my desire to remain undefeated when they disqualified me so I'm glad that he did it because its something i did wanna do but i didn't lose before they disqualified me and took a loss, and gave me a loss. I didn't lose a fight until after that but if they would never have taken that fight, I'll probably still wouldn't have lost a fight because i would have been just like him. my goal would have been true , to stay undefeated, but once they took the fight my goal went out the window. I cant do that no more. I can't do what he did now. I got a DQ loss on my record."

I said the same thing. I think Hearns is all wrong for Floyd.

if paq EVER accepts a floyd fight (doubt it unless he keeps needing bailout cash)
he will lose every single round but NOT all 12 because he would not last all 12.
he would lose all the rounds until he is TKO'd.

its possible he could win a round but there is a better chance for floyd to win all 12 than
fo paq to win a round. this is because floyds style would make paq into a one dimensional
useless fighter that could ever get past the jab. be a field day for floyd.

its obvious floyd knows that too, when has floyd ever come close to offering ANYONE
50% or even close to 50 post odh in 2007 ??? he is very stingy with the money yet he was
willing to give up 50% which was cray because paq was so many levels below him in bringing
in money never mind the light years below in skill he always was.

floyd ever offering anyone 50% is him (floyd) telling the world this guy is wicked over rated and i
am going to get credit for whooping this chump

donair is really more skilled than paq (by a fair anount of skill too) so paq would do worse against rigo then
flash did in all honesty. paq has a punchers chance to but less of a punchers chance than nonito.

flash is far more powerful in a p4p sense and he couldnt land at all really. the only real clean shot he landed sent
rigo down. he couldnt follow up because rigo did recover very quickly. like a floyd type recovery. was strong and back
to normal in the same round

Most of the truly great welterweights would have knocked him out WAY before the 12 round (Robinson, Hearns, Leonard). To find an answer to this one, you really have to look back and find greats in other weight classes who weren't big punchers. Pre-crash Pep might be able to do it, but that's really the only guy that I'd see blanking someone like Pacquiao over 15 rounds without knocking him out at some point.

That's exactly why it's so difficult to answer. Pep is the only guy that I can see with the defense and athleticism to dominate him without knocking him out.

No. It's impossible to win all 12 rounds against someone with Pacquiao's ability, speed, power and activity.

Probably none, honestly, as fights where guys won all rounds before an early stoppage win wouldn't qualify here and it'd be hard to shut Pac out, but a good obvious list to start with would be:
    Robinson
    Whitaker
Hearns @ 154 (Pac has fought at JMW before...?)?
Rigondeaux @ 122 (Pac wasn't nigh as good then as he became at 130+; I feel Donaire of 2013 was much better and Rigo almost shut him out, so as radical as it might sound at first, I think his style deserves a shout of being able to 12-0)?
