Wasn't too impressed with Agogo, looks solid but lacks power and seemed to panic a bit when his opponent came forward trying to rush him. Appleby is making this interesting and this is going how I expected, still expect a Cardle SD.
Skills and speed are fine. Lack of power can be dealt with.... The chav thing may be a bit of a problem....
Round 3 Appleby is forcing Cardle - who has a cut by the corner of his right eye - back with the right hand slung over the top. Cardle is countering with up-jabs from his left thigh and sidestepping lightly around Appleby, hands constantly down by his waistband. Appleby is clubbing with the right stepping in and headhunting with the jab as Cardle ducks and moves laterally. 10-9 Appleby 29-28 Cardle
Yeah i agree, i will even give Shumenov a chance of winning but i don't ever pick against the old man anymore, cost me too much money in the past ha.
Round 4 Appleby is bossing Cardle around, weaving and leaning back when Cardle jabs and then snapping inside with jabs to the chin and right hands on the hairline. Cardle is pushed onto the ropes where Appleby increases his aggression, firing high with both hands but mostly missing. A couple of accurate uppercuts by Cardle while pressed. Cardle is dancing around, taunting Appleby with his lack of a guard, still able to slip and dodge most of Appleby's offense while moving. Decent boxing in the final minute by Cardle but not much sent back Appleby's way. 10-9 Appleby 38-38
