...yeah, that's a relevant point to the conversation as to whether or not "Floyd is a cherry picker" (the answer is: he isn't, but this isn't a great fight regardless of the fact that it's the better of the two).

Mayweather didn't start off at 147...he's come up in weight and has tested himself.

Naw, you really missed what he was saying and insinuating. He believed that Manny was on some serious juice and he probably was at that time. His KO percentage has dropped completely since the suspicions started in earnest. He even managed to get his stupid ass knocked out.

Look man I have more respect for the careers of Bradley and Pacquiao than I do a Maidana but realistically Bradley-Pacquiao II feature an ATG who's arguably only won 1 out of his last 4 fights with that win being against unranked Rios, Bradley is unbeaten in my eyes and has a legitimate claim at being the 2nd best at WW but again all fights were SD's and you have those who will argue Bradley lost his last 3 fights in a row, the overall name value is good but Pacquiao is currently on ranked in the top 5 WW/P4P because of name alone I'd be willing to change my position if he actually wins this time but Bradley probably beats him again.

In Mayweather-Maidana we all know Mayweather's position as the best in the sport Maidana while not as accomplished as a whole career wise has been better as a whole recently since the Kahn fight in 10 the only fighter he's lost to was Alexander 4 fights and almost 2 years ago. Bradleys will is unquestionable but looking at the Provonidkov fight its no gimme that Bradley even beats Maidana we all knows Bradley has the heart to get up but we also know he can get knocked down as well, Pacquiao imo has reached the end and unless he actually manages to beat Bradley in the ring and not in the court of public opinion he'll all but confirm it in April.

Come on now, as much as I like Maidana and as much as I'm happy to see him get a payday we both know this is ****.

He has no chance here and its going to make for a predictable and boring fight, just because somebody picks up a belt doesn't mean that they're a good choice.

LOL. DLH was quasi-retired at that point. He had a only fought once in the previous 2.5 years. Boxing was a part time job for him then, and he was at least 5 years past his best.

No way does a narrow out-pointing of a DLH who was at the end of the line compete with stoppages of Barerra and Morales.

The irony is that people try to discredit Floyd by asking why he doesn't go up to 160, yet at the same time asking him to go up to 160 shows that deep down these same people know how good he is because they've given up hope that boxers nearer to his size can technically outbox him so the focus now shifts to finding bigger guys who can knock him out off pure size.

When Manny Pac actually fights somebody who has talent and stops cherry picking his opponents or fighting overrated Hispanic fighters that black fighters have already beat then this would be a better thread. So many fighters would of dominated or just iced out in a few rounds this overrated joke.

If there was less talent at middleweight, Mayweather would move up against a slow plodder there and declare himself the best of all-time.

Not happening however. Not with fighters like GGG and Andre Ward allready calling him out.
Either of those fighters at 160 lbs would punish Mayweather, just enough talent and to much size with a few of those middleweights.

Ohhhh...he will. ONLY if Cotto is lucky enough to get past through Martinez. The guy doesn't want to defend his title at 154 against all the top contenders but will try to get a shot at Cotto's belt if he wins. Opportunism...and it's bad for the sport of bozing IMO.
