    They booted Huck, the #1, from the rankings for moving up to fight Povetkin at HW. He publicly maintained his desire to stay at Cruiserweight depending the outcome and had just fought at Cruiserweight something like 3-4 months before he fought Povetkin, which just happened right before YPH/Cunningham I (Cunningham was #2 and YPH #3 going into, if Huck were still ranked).

    Oddly enough, The Ring essentially acknowledged their mistake when they changed the "lineal title rules" to allow any #1 or 2 fighter to fight any top 5 fighter to fill a vacant lineal title... However, that was only so they could get away with the same BS and not have to hide it for Khan vs. Garcia (for vacant JWW title, although Khan was #2 and Garcia was #5 I believe).

    I know he famously called Gatti "a C+ fighter" (maybe it was C-).

    I wish Salido would've made weight. Now Loma will "win a vacant title in his 2nd pro fight."

    It will be one-upped by someone who will "win a title from a titlist in his 2nd pro fight." Bummer.

    He just called this a "step up" for Diaz in his comeback.

    Actually, it constitutes a bit of a step down from Adailton De Jesus, who Diaz fought last summer.

    10-9 Diaz, not really hurt IMO.
