Diaz is moving in with power flurries, jabs and corkscrew rights up top and digging under the elbows with big hooks. Robles is trapped on the ropes. Robles grabs at Diaz's arms and invites a referee break. Diaz shoulders into him and keeps hooking the body. Left uppercut by Diaz into the midsection of Robles, getting him to bend to his right, allowing Diaz to plant a right uppercut on the bottom of his jaw. Diaz is hooking Robles on the side of the neck as Robles fires back with sloppy telegraphed hooks of his own inside. BIG looping right by Diaz, missing and spinning himself around falling in. Hooking flurry now by Robles! Diaz may have punched himself out, leaning forward and getting hit. Diaz is trying to clinch and steps on his own heel, falling. Robles was flurrying into his face as Diaz fell, but the ref rules no knockdown. (correctly, as Diaz's descent began prior to Robles' flurry starting)

Big hooks by Diaz; Robles hurt. Diaz is forcing the jab across, mostly just tickling Robles' neck. Diaz is smashing Robles behind the cheekbone with that left hook coming up from a forward-tilting crouch inside. Robles is jabbing and flurrying out from his guard as he backs up but can't hold Diaz off.
