If you have a look round, there's quite a few of us that simply don't give a flying **** that Burns got beat, there's even some made up he got beat. That's the beauty of boxing you get to watch people you don't like get beat up, whether the reason behind you not liking them is they are gobby loud mouths or their trainer is a big fat wanker... either way you get to see them win or lose.

I happen to like Ricky Burns, nice lad, but his trainers Scotland's answer to quasimodo who also tried to bull**** the fans after the Beltran fight, so fook him.

4 rounds, do you think I have a problem when the better man wins? Not at all.
Ricky will come back from this loss like the champion he is

Thought you announced your retirement from here anyway? After everyone buzzed off you after the Beltran fight. :think

  7. Up for the fight with a few mates from London and all of us thought it was a cracking atmosphere but a very poor fight. It is very rare that the main event ends up as the most boring fight on the bill.

Cardle v Appleby was the best fight of the night and good to see John Murray back with a good performance. Joshua looked very good against limited opposition.

Ricky Burns did not look the same hungry fighter that beat Roman Martinez and Crawford looked very unspectacular but effective.

All of us were of the same opinion that we would certainly not be rushing to buy tickets to watch Crawford again.

Time to get expectations in check as Ricky Burns has most likely overachieved in his boxing career and should be very proud given his background.

I agree with most of what you say.Regarding Crawfords showing, though, you've already said he looked unspectacular but EFFECTIVE.He said as much himself after the fight, that it was all about the win.But he did look pure class, and if a British boxer had gone into an Americans virtual backyard and won almost every round, with only his opponents extreme forage keeping him on his feet, they'd be shouting from the rooftops.Plus,I doubt well see him in GB again. This was his Bradley/Witter moment,I think.

I don't see that at all.

I didn't think Crawford looked anything special at all. Defiantely Awkward but not special.

I'd back Rios against him or someone similar.

All I got from that was " I live a sad life, no one loves me, I must drag people on the internet down to my level. "
