Originally, I felt Floyd was a bit scared. Not of Pacquiao, but of his own record.

Now, I want Pacquiao to just accept the fight no matter what annoying **** Floyd offers. Both need this fight. Floyd doesn't have enough epic rivalries or anything to go down in history without the Pacman name annoying his legacy. Pacquiao isn't #1 of all time, but a win over Mayweather, for some historians, would put him near it.

But alas, it won't happen. This fight, my favourite of all time Vs who I think is the best of all time, has turned me away from boxing. Now, I don't even look out for big boxing fights, where I watch even awful UFC events. This is all because boxing couldn't put the fight on. I hope some day I can be proven wrong.

Like I said though, it wasn't always like this. It started after Pac lost to JMM and Bradley. The insecurities of extreme Pac fans started showing and there was a shift by them to overcompensate for Manny's in-ring loss by diverting attention to out-side-the-ring-****. This forum has gone down the drain, people rank boxers off of likability and then pretend as if they don't when it's clear as day. It aint even about Floyd Mayweather, it's bigger than him. The downgrading of boxers' atg status due to outside the ring antics is prevalent.

I read a post earlier this month where someone said Mike Tyson wasn't an atg heavyweight, then the poster said his reasoning was due to the fact that Mike raped a girl and did cocaine. This is the type of homo stuff I'm referring to, what does a dude doing coke and going to prison have to do with his rank? Like WTF is going on here?? 50% of the forum has this mentality and it wasn't as bad when I first joined. People USED to care about ability and rank off ability but now it's about personality, how much you smile, how well you speak, not having a criminal record, and other random gay **** like that.

Because he is small as hell. He probably hasn't ever weighed 160 lbs in his life, and he would face guys who cut down. Why make size mismatches? He just isn't big enough to be a middleweight. He may not be shorter than some heavier fighters but his frame is not thick at all.

And he just didnt feel like making weight against Marquez, he could have.

Well he started at 130 lbs, won titles in every division all the way up to 154 and holds the record with pacman as being the only 2 fighters in the history of boxing with 4 lineal championships.

Floyd RIGHT now is walking around at 150 lbs. He's a JWW whose been fighting out of his true division now for a decade. People just want to see him lose so badly that they'll just continue to clamor for him to continue going up in weight until he loses.

And he doesn't have the body of a MW. Most MW's are 5'10 and up and they walk around at 170-180 pounds.

No need to make logic out of this debate, just look at who the thread starter is. He's a crazy person who probably got spit on by Floyd when he asked for his autograph. Now he just stays in his room with a myriad of Floyd posters on his wall and he probably has "Goodbye Horses" on repeat on his ipod.

I don't understand. Did you post this cuz you agree with guest appearance? The reason I ask is cuz you basically proved his point. I mean you didn't post a fight or breakdown his fighting style, but rather posted something he said which you don't like. Call me crazy should athletes not be judge based on performance and not interview skills???

Pac needs to avenge his losses to those filipino cans before he tries fighting Mayweather. Doubt he gets past Bradley again.

I think it has to do with for such a long time there was an insane amount of people who were exclusively Pacquiao fans on boxing forums. Any threads critical of Pacquiao would be spammed with pictures and whatnot, and they had the numbers to do this for pages. Then the third JMM fight happened where many saw Pac losing (including Ring Robbery of the Year) and you saw the Pacquiao fanatic numbers start to decline. Then we had the Bradley "loss" and ultimately the fourth fight with JMM.

Floyd for awhile was not making the wisest comments regarding the situation and rightfully was being criticized for it by many neutral boxing fans. However the last few years now Floyd has been more active and Manny had been taking rather mediocre fights so many of those neutral criticisms went away. Then we have KTFO6 and the Sleeping Manny meme thread happened. This shattered their world. Suddenly you had people who were generally supportive of Pac or critical of Floyd all laughing at photo shops of Manny. He was supposed to be this globally beloved invincible hero, and now everyone was making fun of him.

We are left with what desperate few remain posting a half dozen "Floyd is a duck coward" threads daily, trying to trick themselves back into their comfort zones. They think this is WWE...That if they just spam the **** out of boxing forums, chant "Philippines", and pray to their Manny dolls really hard each night that magically everyone will declare Manny the best and we will all wake up back in 2009.
