Any boxer who travels to another country and takes a world title from the home fighter deserves respect.

Crawford didn't let the home crowd get to him, he kept his cool and outboxed the more experienced Burns, winning by a wide and clear margin so they couldn't give a gift decision to the home fighter.

    Props to Terence Crawford. :thumbsup

Hell Yeah,!!! Big ups to my boy TC. He walked down that entrance with thousands booing him and got right in Burns ass. Brought that belt back to the USA where it belongs and set himself up to become one of the elites in boxing. I can't wait for his next fight.:bbb

He might be the Champion. But he will NEVER have the popularity of the guy he just beat or anyone else for that matter,i'm sorry to say.

He just has no charisma inside or outside of the ring. Its not like a Mayweather situation where he can bore everyone with his slick skills but then get everybody excited by his on camera persona.

At best he can be like a Tim Bradley. Fighting high stake fights where his opposition is the major draw..

Props to Crawford- dude traveled to the lion's den, settled down after some early jitters, and took care of business. He's just a no-nonsense pro, and I'm looking forward to seeing where he goes from here. :thumbsup

He's ok , but not as good as I thought he would be .

Lets be completely honest Burns was absolutely there for the taking and we saw a good new champion last night , not a great one.

Crawford showed he has a good head on his shoulders, as he was unaffected by the hostile environment. He fought intelligently throughout the fight, being cautious in the early rounds, but becoming more aggressive after feeling Burns out.

Mental strength is a vital component of a successful career.

Burns still has the broken jaw in the back of his mind,

A good fighter would have walked Burns down way earlier . I had it to Crawford by 116 - 112.

Crawford would do well to stay away from Gamboa.

Crawford would beat the hell out of Gamboa if someone was stupid enough to put him in the ring with Crawford.

According to Jim Watt he's nothing special and something was wrong with Ricky Burns last night.
According to me Crawford is a very good fighter and will give everyone all or more they can handle at the weight. Although Ricky got spanked for his 3rd fight in a row now.

Looking forward to seeing him fighting for the other titles

Great stuff from Crawford. He impressed the hell out of me against Prescott, staying disciplined and in the pocket the whole way and he lived up to that promise against Burns.

Let's also remember that the guy had never been 12 rounds before! He deserves some real props for outclassing a titleholder on enemy turf like that and look so relaxed doing it. Hope Beltran gets a shot at him next.
