    Would anyone in the last 45 or so years defeat Spinks at 175?

    Foster and RJJ have the best chances, and I wouldn't bet on them.

    If Salem can drop him like he did at 168, Imagine what Spinks would do if he landed...

    Spinks was a beast at LHW... I wouldn't be confident in anyone beating him there.

    It took prime TYSON at HW to beat him(and beat him baaaaad). But these guys think Calzaghe would beat Tyson, so there's just no sense arguing these things anymore.

    Saad, Qawi & Spinks all beat him.

    Joe could beat EMM though, I think he'd be too busy

    Well, Joe would last longer than 90 seconds. He would make Tyson look like **** before he was caught.

    Joe wouldn't go near Tyson.:lol::patsch

    If I remember correctly he was intimidated by Lacy's power and was quite happy when he realized it wasn't as bad as he was thinking.

    No shame in that though, Roy wouldn't have gone near a anywhere near prime Tyson either, Spinks had balls, he knew he was going to be knocked out. But instead of dumping the belt in the garbage, he went in and took his beating.

    Please. Joe would never, ever get in the ring with a guy like Tyson. What about his career would make you think he'd even consider it for a moment? Joe, for all his success, didn't take many risks. And nothing even remotely akin to moving up to HW to fight, let alone a monster like Tyson was at the time.

    Tyson would never fight for a wbo title that calzaghe had anyway.

    he wanted the real world titles.

    the closest joe got to Tyson was by forcing himself on the Tyson-neilsen bill by defending against an unranked no-hoper will McIntyre.
