I thought boxing was a poor mans sport, I thought you had to be born in poverty to be a bad ass?

Chavez jr grew up with anything he wanted, walked into a boxing gym at 20 years old and won a world title. He never struggled in his life. He drove a ferrari when he was 14.

hes has good genes. plus hes bigger than his opponents. but i love the kid despite the hate he receives daily which some of it is warranted

The guy grew up boxing, he knows what to do on a fundamental level and he obviously has the physical characteristics for it. Difference is, had he been the serious type he well could be a top5 p4p guy instead of a guy who had to rematch Brian Vera. Who while a good fighter, just is not on the same level of pedigree and physical talent.

I think he had a stressful life...otherwise he will not be able to make it, plus a great genetic make up for boxing
