Andre Ward continues to fight in front of 1 man and his dog in Oakland. If Ward wants the big bucks instead of earning peanuts he needs to come to England :deal

For fighting in front of one man and his pet dog, Ward sure makes pretty good money fighting the likes of Edwin Rodriguez ($2.000.000)

I believe Froch will earn between $12m to $18m from this fight :think

Fair play to him for that, well deserved if that's the amount he's getting paid.

I will be one of the 80,000 in attendance for this epic war. :deal

Ward will continue to fight in front of 1,000 inbred Californian's against B-Level fighters like Rodriguez in boring clinch fests as he struggles to get any big money generator such as Golovkin and Stevenson in the ring with his demands everyone has to fight him at 168, drug testing is off the table and he get 80/20 split of the chump change.

    I doubt it's 12-18 million.

The rematch with Kessler only netted him $5 million (US)

That wasn't on PPV over here though and took place in an arena rather than the national stadium.

I doubt it too but this is a big money fight.

I'd say he'll be making more than the Kessler rematch but doubt it's that much more.

He's the money man in the division though, no doubting that.

80,000 crowd, comparable ppv numbers to hatton v mayweather and froch gettin 80% of the purse, plus fight shown HBO, Froch will triple what he got for Kessler imo.

Sorry Stevenson and Golovkin are not big money generators. :patsch

They make significantly less than Ward. :deal

Froch does make more than Ward though, I'll concede that.

    Golovkin doesn't make ****!!

I didn't say they 'make' more money than him but they generate more.

Hence why they do better TV ratings and have larger fan bases.

If anything Ward probably costs HBO a lot more than he makes them.

If Ward was generating horribly, there is no reason why they would pay him what they do.

    Ward generates well

HBO knows that they need Ward to be the next big thing after Pac/May retires.

Ward is the most important fighter on their roster atm (Besides Pac).

Doubt it. If the Golovkin fight ever happens HBO execs will probably be secretly rooting for Golovkin.

Reason being that even though Ward's younger GGG fights more regularly as he isn't as unreasonable to negotiate with as Ward and he's less injury prone.

And he's in more exciting fights and gets more viewers- hence more advertisers will be attracted to his fights.

Remember the result of Froch vs Groves I?, now get on your knees and pray nothing similar happens in front of 80,000 fans in England.

GGG's management team must really suck

He supposedly is such a big star, generates so much but makes 5x less than Ward.

Even if his team is more lenient at the negotiation tables, there is a fine line between being reasonable and just being stupid. :think
