come on,who would be bothered that someone edge out 2 40somethings? Joe would edge out 40somethng Toney, Hagler and Leonard too.


If Joe had the ability to beat the prime, they might be bothered.

 

GOOD win not great at all Lacy is nothing in boxing history not even blip on radar, but you Calzaghe fans made it out to be something incredible, for example MAB beating Hamed is much greater and more significant win than this one IN EVERY WAY, but you somehow see Joe fans bragging about this but i guess its because of his lack of good competition so they hype Lacyatsch

Lacy was one of the best examples of a bogus digital media hype syndrome going overboard ever. He looked the part but beyond that was an inflated record, serious gaps in boxing skill, and being cursed with a chin and no defense.

It was like shooting fish in the barrel for Calzaghe.

 

Means nothing, because every fighter he is compared to have more or same amount of belts and when it comes to fighters he faced they hype Lacy up to be something he isnt!

 

He toyed with a shadow, not only was Lacys soul taken by Joe, but he also suffered a horrible shoulder injury in his next fight which took away his "left hook", of course Lacy was going to be finished after all that

at the time though, and some people like to gloss over this, Lacy was hyped more than Adrien Broner, he was actually on some peoples p4p lists no joke

The question at the time was "will Joe be able to walk out of the ring or have to be carried out?" then of course afterwards its "oh well he struggled with Omar Sheika of course he was **** and Joe was going to beat him"

 

It was everybody else hyping Lacy up!!!!

 

it was the yanks building him up, everyone in the uk knew what lacy was in for and after the fight the yanks done a total u turn and said whats he done and who has he beat

 

Yup everyone else hyped him back than, Joe fans hype him right now, fact is he simply wasnt good period its not first or the last time fighter is overhyped and schooled.:good this is good win but not some amazing historical win Joe fans made it out to be.
