I would defo try and go to Belfast for this fight although my chances of snapping up a ticket would be slim. Imagine the atmosphere would be electric. Fingers crossed this fight can happen

Frampton is not a hype. He is the real deal.

What a great fight this would be. Definitely appeals to me more than a Quigg fight.

I'd back Carl to edge a hard, close, exciting fight.

You'd have the same chance as any of us Ben...just have your credit card ready by the phone. ( or someone else's credit card!)
Lines will probably be busy the morning tickets go on sale alright! You may have to try a few times before you get through. :good

Good job for Carl he's not at that level innit!

Lucky for him he only has to take punches from world champions these days...you know, feather-fisted types like Kiko Martinez, right? :patsch

It depends, if Frampton wins his eliminator in April then Cruz has 3 months to negotiate a fight with him or be stripped of his belt.

Santa Cruz is making $500,000 for his defence against Mijares this weekend which is about £300,000.

He'd probably want at least $750,000 to fight in Ireland which is £450,000.

If you factor into that Frampton getting around £200,000 then that's already £650,000 you have to generate to just cover the Main card purse and double that for all other costs.

Lets say Frampton can bring 20,000 fans to the fight at an average of £50 a ticket then thats a £1,000,000 gate. Television money from Showtime, Boxnation, International broadcasters can bring in at least $2 million (£1,200,000) so if you factor in everything they should be able to bring Santa Cruz over to Ireland.

Personally I'd prefer to pay more for a ticket and have it indoors in the Odessy.
Much better atmosphere, much more comfortable etc. don't forget the legendary irish weather!
    Indoors far preferable to outdoors.
