And just how good were they? How much did the "glass jaw" they were packing affect how great they were?

RJJ chin of the finest china, but he was so fast it didn't matter and we only found out when he slowed down and got KTFO by Tarver, Also Wlad a great mention for a top fighter his chin is awful but again his style has stopped him from getting hit clean for some time now.

RJJ doesn't deserve the mention as he was roided to the eyeballs.

Hearns is the first that comes to mind.

Sergio is not in the same class, but he's still packing glass.

Hearns didn't have a weak chin. Leonard never put him on the canvas in their first fight and he lost a war with Hagler where he took several heavy shots. Everyone that put Hearns down was a big puncher. This is definitely one of boxing myths.

You don't fight people that can dig like these fookers and only get knocked down twice in your career, even the McCall fight was a bit premature and he was up at the count of 6.

What's the definition of a "glass jaw"? I can't think of one great fighter that couldn't take a good punch. All of the fighters named above could take a good punch. Getting ko'd by a great shot doesn't mean you have a weak chin.

I'm hesitant to call Wlad "great" but I wouldn't even say that he has a glass chin. Maybe RJJ had one, maybe. Getting ko'd from a great shot doesn't mean you have a glass chin.
