Tyson at 25 was actually 80 in Tyson years. Or that is what people will tell you. He was in ins prime vs Rudduck got a quick stoppage in their first fight and Razor went the distance with him in their second bout. The same Razor Rudduck who quit after taking a whipping from David Jaco and then claim he had asthma something he never mentioned again. Razor Ruddock was destroyed by Lewis in 2 rounds. Just to show how overrated Tyson's power is.

How can you possible base this on a fight when his opponent was scared shitless of him? The best versions of the fighters above wouldn't have been. Nor would have any version of Foreman or Ali.

I mean Tyson didn't look good. Struggled. And you want to compare him to former greats.

Every fighter struggles in their career. Except struggling for Tyson was shutting out an opponent over 12 rounds. Is he supposed to knock every opponent out? Maybe you rate him higher than you thought! :good

Lennox Lewis, Riddick Bowe, Holyfield, Foreman, possibly Sonny Liston would clobber prime Tyson. Tyson made his reputation by fighting at a time when the heavyweight division was at one of its worst epocs. Michael Spinks was a "blown up" light heavyweight in his very last professional fight ( somehow someone posting on this board thought Spinks was in his prime ) when Tyson destroyed him. Ali could have possibly carried Tyson into deep water and beat him but that's a 50-50 possibility IMO.

Tyson was very good going forward.
He looked unstoppable while beating his adversairies to the punch and being relentless in his attack.
So it's easy to believe he was invincible.

But even in his first demolition job on Bruno, he got rocked, and retreated for a moment. Against prime Foreman, he would get rocked multiple times, and there lies the problem.
There's nothing to suggest even prime Tyson had the mental fortitude to regroup and keep giving his best.
He was awesome in the first half of the fight, but his muscular build and high energy style would have sapped his stamina for the remainder, if his adversary was still standing.

Prime Foreman bullies any version of the bully.
