yeah though he went head hunting after the knockdown. Theres an argument for giving Ward the last 2 rounds

 

Yeah, don't think there could have been complaints if Ward had won, but Sweeney has a lot of potential. He was very good until he got tired, and even afterwards he was boxing nicely, but maybe not doing enough.

 

...and i thought Nolan won too. ps had ten on O'Reilly at 5/1.

Sweeney prob lucky, the kd won it for him.
also felt McCullough was a lot closer than the scoring.

The kd made round 1 a 10-8 for Gary so Ward needed two 10-9 rounds on all three judges. Well done to young Sweeney.

 

Yeah Well done was a close fight but i think only one judge awarded the round 10-8. Didn't Ward win 29-28 on two of judges scorecards or did I read it wrong?

 

Great nights boxing and O'Reilly was boxer of the night dor me, class act and beat O'Neill with ease. Ive been keepin an eye on him since the European youths a few year back, delighted he won just sick I never backed him. All good evenly matched bouts pity its only once a year .

 

I thought Reilly gave the performance of the night. I really thought he won hands down. Was so impressed by the guy. Plus I had him backed at 9/1 Also had Donnelly backed at 9/2 but I must admit that one could have went Nolan's way!
Conlan found McCullough to be a VERY tricky customer!

Ill have to watch it back on tele, I was half pissed in the stadium but genuinley thought he won it handy .

 

I predicted all but one in this post during the week. And believe it or not lads I actually backed DOJ in the bookies in the end haha
