Kudos to Alvarez for coming back after a harrowing first round and making the second stanza pretty interesting. 20-18 Yeyo, though.

    Round 2

Thompson is shuffling forward and leading with high jabs and temple-bopping rights delivered with a pitcher's wind-up. Alvarez is circling and getting caught with high jabs and left rips on the body. Alvarez starts timing his counterattacks, resting his weight on his lead foot and sagging down a bit to dig a left upper-hook into Thompson's side. Alvarez dances around the ring popping jabs as Thompson pursues, chopping his left arm out sideways into the air in a pseudo-jab.

    10-9 Alvarez

    19-19

ricardo has a lot of his brother in him, but nowhere near the timing and defense and footwork

lol anyone who throws a lot pf puinches would beat alvarez badly, he freezes when you punch, kinda like de la hoya did, except de la hoya was really good at parrying shots

    Round 3

Alvarez is jabbing and circling, too close. Thompson is catching him with the powerful right hand up top. 1-2s stuck into the face by Alvarez, following his fists with his feet and melting into Thompson and tying up. Thompson blasts free and hurts Alvarez with a probing jab. Alvarez is given a count. Thompson is following Alvarez, jabbing him in the belly. Sharp head jabs from outside by Alvarez, keeping a tight guard, thumbs pinching his nose. 1-1-2 by Thompson lunging up, caught between the palms of Alvarez.

    10-8 Thompson

    29-27 Thompson

Both guys easy to hit but this should favour Thompson who hits harder.

Tempted to call the third 10-9. Alvarez controlled most of it, save for the flash kd. Think I will. 30-27 Yeyo.
