    Linares is stepping away, jabbing Arakawa's right arm off its trajectory as it extends in a range-finding jab motion. Linares is hooking and firing straight rights at the chest of Arakawa on the backfoot, staying underneath Arakawa's jab. Nice outside boxing by Linares.

    first round 10-9 linerez for me

    threw more they both landed good shots but i feel he was the more active and landed the better shots. arakawa seems like he can box better he just needs to settle and let his hands go

    Linares is circling quickly and plugging Arakawa in the stomach with the left jab. Linares is throwing a hard beeline right hand into the center of Arakawa's chest, generating forward thrust while pulling his upper body away. Linares is turning the southpaw, circling to his own left, wary of that power hand. Arakawa is mostly neglecting it, just stepping in with right jabs aimed for Linares' head but falling short due to Linares' footwork.
