Very well might. Curious that it was changed to a 10-rounder at the last minute (as was Thompson vs. Alvarez - though in both cases it was probably to keep the PPV short enough for the main event to start acceptably early)

Linares looks like he's gonna get stopped later. He's slowing down.

He may get lucky, this being a 10 rounder.

Linares hates the pressure but can handle it

Nah, not against you specifically. Some people here live to point out any perceived weaknesses in people who smash faces for a living. He was boxing the ears off De Marco up until the cut. De Marco is more of a grinder, not a 1 punch kind of guy. Thompson got it. I know what you were getting at but figured I'd add my 2 cents.

    Round 6

Linares is throwing combos and single jabs backing away, circling right. Arakawa steps through, planting a left hand lead on Linares and shutting him down momentarily. Linares gets his claws in Arakawa's sides, turning him like a spit-roast and stepping around him. Wild up-jabs and left hand home run swings by Arakawa, just missing.

10-9 Linares but closer, under pressure.

    60-54 Linares

anyone who boxes can really appreciate arakawa.. the guy just keeps moving forward after taking huge shots... its one thing to absorb the shots but to keep walking forward.. MASSIVE RESPECT

Or I could be wrong and Linares gets stopped late by this feather duster. Stranger things have happened.
