how much money was angulo given to stand and take shots?

    angulo did absolutely nothing all night. for the first 3 rounds he stood there like a sparring partner whilst canelo opened up on him.

    the "punches" he did throw were just extensions of his arm that would have done nothing more than tap canelo on the head.

    if we all wanted to see how good canelo is at hitting inanimate objects, they should have just shown us a video clip of him hitting the pads or maybe a heavy bag.

    he is paid 750k for the fight, 100k for the weight issue, and most likely over 2 million for losing....

    Considering what a slick defensive wizard Angulo has been in all his previous fights, I can only presume this fight was fixed.

    I tuned in expecting to see that Whitaker-like evasiveness that has made Angulo famous but was shocked to see a face-first brawler instead. No-one could've possibly seen that coming.

    how unusual. maybe you've not seen angulo fight before?

    i tuned in to see a brawl; what i got was canelo hitting a punching bag.

    Stupid trolls. Angulo's punches looked exactly the way they always look

    they never look explosive or sharp and he doesn't have one-punch KO power

    he's a volume puncher and slow plodder with heavy hands, nothing more

    the only difference yesterday was that Angulo looked gun shy, but duh..maybe it was because he was getting countered and battered with brutal combos at every turn, by a much more talented fighter

    Hurr Durr fight was fixed, that's the reason Angulo was so pissed off with the stoppage and looked like he wanted to punch the referee right there

    Only a moron or a biased ginger hater would think the fight was fixed.

    I'm inclined to think you and OP are a combination of both

    Why exactly would you expect that when Canelo has never been a brawler and Angulo has been out-boxed by the likes of Cintron? I expected Canelo to box and Angulo to plod forward with no defence and hope to wear him down.

    Brutal is the right word. Angulo showed a hell of a chin. Its hard to get solid punches off when your being hit 4 to 1 by a harder punching faster fighter.

    He wasn't paid anything to stand there and take the shots.

    After the very 1st round Hunter asked Angulo if the punches were hurting him because he could see Angulo fold up several times in the 1st round............Angulo replied "a lil bit"
