Sparring is not the same as a fight. Dont care if the younger guy blew his load against the far more older guy in sparring. Thats like saying Spadafora wiill get Floyd in a real fight. Pure non-sense. As far as your lame Ward point. WaRD DIDN'T CALL THESE GUYS OUT THEN GO BACK ON HIS WORD. 2 totally different scenarios. GGG wants none of Ward and as far as I can tell, no real fighter for that matter other than cab drivers, tomato cans and sparring partners. Fight a real fighter. Angulo is better than anyone GGG has fought in a "professional" fight.

When did Golovkin call out Ward specifically and go back on his word? Did he back out of negotiations? Source needed. Using that 'anyone from 154 to 168' won't get you there either, it's textbook grasping at straws.

"GGG wants none of Ward and as far as I can tell" - where do you get that?

    Here's evidence of the contrary:

“As far as 160 is concerned, I think that it is only fair to [Golovkin] to allow him to exhaust all possibilities before he does anything above 160. I think that there’s three or four guys that, hopefully within the next year, all those problems, network problems and all those issues get resolved and we end up fighting because they have to fight him. If [Golovkin] reigns supreme at 160, then I don’t doubt that we will move up to 168. And there’s several fighters there at 168 that we can go after,” said Sanchez.

“I think that all those three names are possibilities and they would be good for boxing,” said Sanchez, “but the Ward fight may not be the most exciting fight for boxing but I think that in order to be considered the best at 168, you have to fight the best at 168 and Ward right now is the best. But all three of those fights would be easy to make. In order to control the division at 168 like [Golovkin] would at 160, you have to fight those guys. Hopefully, Chavez Jr. stays at that division and he doesn’t grow out of it. Froch would be a great fight in my opinion. And just because of the styles, Ward may not be as great a fight but I think it would be a tactical fight between two guys that can really fight.”

Just going to be real here. I dont care what anyone thinks here about my opinion. This board hates on certain fighters then overhypes other type of fighters (who mostly have light skin) all the while not holding the other type of fighters (lighter skinned fighters) to the same standard as the others (darker skinned fighters). Ive watched on this board for years how this all goes down so I have to call a spade a spade. If youre not a black fighter, I dont care too much about you other than Froch who is my guy. The Manny's and the GGG's always fall short because they are just media created hypejobs who have more marketability hence why their accomplishments are overhyped. The Floyds and the Wards all get criticized but continue to dominate boxing and are therefore the best in the business. I never cared for popularity contests buddy so I dont care if Im the only guy stating my opinion about yet another, ESB hype job such as GGG. Dude fights tomato cans. Floyd would get lynched if he was over 30 years old and fought the **** poor competition that GGG has fought. Black fighters will always be the best and will continue to be the best no matter how idiots try to hype the other guys up. Just calling a spade a spade. I didn't design this. Its just the way it is.:deal

I'm not even going to play this. GGG said hell fight anyone from 154 to 168. Thus far, hes fought nothing but bums.

GGG is better than Canelo based off of what exactly? "We all look like knockout artists vs C level competition" - Andre Ward

No real rebuttal because you know its the truth. You have to hype non-dark fighters because theyre not as good. Dont get mad. Its not my fault and I didnt design this. Just the way it is. Its odd that a guy who really hasnt proven himself is already given credit as being one of the best. Im sorry I dont like playing charades or believe in fairy tales pal. When GGG actually "proves" himself against a "credible" opponent, Ill be the first to admit as such. Until then, yes he's a ****ing hypejob. And I keep the same standard for all races unlike the majority of ****s on this board. I just keep it 100 across the whole spectrum. Black fighters are the best. 100% fact. Its not racist, theres no agenda behind that statement. Its just what none of you want to accept which is sad because the truth hurts. I dont know why if your a true boxing fan. I will have a nice dark day. Thanks!:hi:

No sonny, you're still spouting ****. Thin runny ****, the kind you sometimes squirt after a bad batch of home brew.

My six most naturally talented boxers since the war are SRR, Ali, SRL, Pea, RJJ and Floyd.

Notice, none of them are the least bit pale.

My top ten HW list has eight black men, including the top five.

But that was not because of any innate characteristic of blackness. They were just great. There were reasons that blacks dominated the sport.

However, this is now. And while the sport still has more black top level fighters than their numbers might indicate, there are greats of all races and colour. Duran, Marciano, Monzon, Pac, etc.

It's a bit early to tell if GGG belongs up there. Time will tell.

When I was at university I noticed there weren't many (none !) professors of physics or maths who were black.

Now it's possible that some stupid **** ( like yourself, say), might conclude from that that blacks weren't as smart as whites.

Then again, a smarter observer might be smart enough to work out the real reasons.

Like I said, have a nice aphotic day.

    :deal:deal

Honestly the first thing that came to mind when I read this thread, was that GOW sounded like Himmler prior to the 36' Olympics - just with the races switched around.

I bet it makes him very uncomfortable when someone reminds him that Ward is actually as white as he is black. :rofl
